Tongtian Hierarch was not pleased. He scolded, "You lazy good-for-nothing, how can you be so lacking in ambition and so willing to endure humiliation?"
Sha Chen replied, "When others slander me, deceive me, insult me, mock me, belittle me, look down on me, curse me, or cheat me, I should still kindle compassion: endure them, let them be, avoid them, bear with them, respect them, and pay them no mind."
After hearing Sha Chen's words, Tongtian Hierarch was dumbfounded. He then stood up, looking around.
Sha Chen quickly got to his feet and asked, "Saint, what are you looking for?"
Tongtian Hierarch said, "Where is my sword? I might as well kill you."
Sha Chen broke out in a cold sweat and hurriedly said, "Saint, don't joke! I was wrong! What on earth did I do?"
Tongtian Hierarch snorted coldly and said, "You're such hopeless mud that can't be plastered on a wall. I find you an eyesore; I might as well kill you and be done with it."
