Sulguk succumbed to such insidious corruption, Avalon was meant to be the second.
However, destiny favored Him; His elven servants daringly experimented in the material world, and during one accidental Divine Power resonance, they perceived Avalon's corruption. This revelation awoke the God of Nature before He made that fatal misstep, thereby purifying Himself.
I am the product of that purification.
He cannot abandon me; that would mean forfeiting a part of His existence.
For Divine Spirits, lack and incompleteness are terrifying weaknesses. If seized upon by those lurking in the shadowy subspace, a tragedy akin to Sulguk's could unfold in minutes.
Yet He cannot acknowledge me, cannot embrace me as He does His other facets.
After all, I am the creation of corruption.
He can only cautiously isolate me, hoping to later eliminate me with a less hazardous method once His understanding of artificial divinity deepens. However, life yearns to persist and exist once it arises.
