The first skirmish in the Polluted Swamp concluded within four hours.
Although the battle was intense, its scale was not that large. The Jackal Wolfmen deployed over a thousand troops, about the same as the Transylvania side, including reinforcements. While the battle resulted in a victory for Transylvania, it wasn't substantial enough to impede the southern advance already initiated by the Jackal Wolfmen.
However, this confrontation also made it clear that Huggesen's attempt to open underground passageways was a total failure. Upon learning that the Gnolls were frantically digging underground, the Transia Soldiers, already versed in tunnel warfare, launched attacks under the guidance of players. The tunnels dug by the Gnolls were targeted by them for surprise assaults, collapsing the sites and leaving some traps or explosive Rune Stones as "gifts."
