The pursuit of Yorozu was far from easy. Nue was incapable of carrying many people, which constantly left Megumi and Nobara lagging behind. Hana was the only one able to keep Yorozu within her field of vision, but even then, the cursed user was incredibly fast.

Fortunately for the three of them, the chase did not last much longer before Yorozu suddenly descended, landing in the middle of Sendai Stadium.

Hana was the first to reach her, but the Angel was quick to warn her not to act rashly. Yorozu seemed aware of her presence, and even knew they had been pursuing her, yet she did not appear to care in the slightest as she looked around with almost childlike curiosity.

She seemed eager to choose the perfect place for her meeting with Sukuna.

"To think she would reincarnate as well… No, of course she would be here too."

Hana heard the Angel say, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

"You know her?"

The Angel paused as if considering her next words.

"She was quite noisy in my era…"

Hana snorted, her eyes settling on Yorozu as she walked between the stadium seats.

"Looks like she didn't stop being noisy after your era."

A few minutes later, Megumi and Nobara finally arrived at the stadium, with Nobara breathing a little too heavily from running hard enough to avoid being left behind by Megumi.

As soon as Hana saw them enter, she immediately landed in front of them.

"Where is she?" Megumi asked firmly.

"She's inside. She hasn't shown any signs of leaving, she just seems to be evaluating the place," Hana answered almost immediately. "The Angel seems to know her."

Megumi blinked, his gaze shifting to the mouth that opened on Hana's cheek.

"Her name, as she mentioned, is Yorozu. She was a member of the Fujiwara family. Her cursed technique is called Construction. She defeated the Five Void Generals, so do not act recklessly. She is by no means weak."

The firmness and seriousness in the Angel's words made it clear that Yorozu was no ordinary opponent.

"Even I, back then, would not have been confident in defeating her alone."

After that final statement, silence stretched for several seconds.

Even Megumi, with his blood running hot and anger boiling in his chest, hesitated over what to do. It was his sister's body, the same sister he had visited every day in the hospital, hoping she would wake up.

Now it had been taken over by a stranger and used to deceive him.

He was furious, so furious that he felt like he could explode. Even when he had been angry at himself, he had never felt anything like this.

But he knew he could not act without thinking. If the Angel said Yorozu was dangerous, then there was no reason to doubt it.

As painful and infuriating as it was, he knew he was not enough to face someone with that level of power, nor did he have the right to put his friends in danger because of it.

Without question, the best option was to wait for reinforcements.

"This isn't enough. I need a better place."

Yorozu's voice drew their attention.

Then her wings spread, instantly putting all three of them on alert. If she escaped now, they would only delay the arrival of reinforcements by having to chase her elsewhere.

They had to keep her inside the stadium.

"Nue!"

Megumi charged forward, his hands forming the familiar bird-shaped sign to summon his Shikigami.

Nue emerged from the shadow behind him, its wings beating powerfully as it rushed toward Yorozu, who was preparing to shoot into the sky.

Bam!

The Shikigami slammed into her with force, purple lightning scattering in every direction in an attempt to delay her further before it vanished.

The three of them stared at the stands for several seconds, waiting for any movement from the cursed user.

Then, the moment a seat came flying toward them, Megumi jumped aside to evade it, his eyes widening as he saw a stream of gray liquid shooting toward him.

"Don't let it hit you!"

The Angel warned him.

Megumi clasped his hands together, partially summoning his wolf as a black shadow to block the attack. The liquid exploded into a shower of droplets, which he immediately avoided with a swift retreat.

"What is this?" Megumi muttered, staring at a small drop near him. "Poison?"

As he examined it, his eyes narrowed when the droplet rippled.

In an instant, it completely changed structure, turning into a metal spike that he barely dodged as it shot toward him.

"Metal…" Megumi pressed his lips together, wiping blood from a small cut on his cheek with his thumb. "It's liquid metal! Don't get near the droplets because she can control them and change their structure at will!"

Hana and Nobara immediately nodded.

"Oh, the boy is smart," Yorozu commented with a disdainful smile, her eyes sweeping over the three before settling on Hana. "Angel… It's been a long time since our last battle, hasn't it?"

The Angel's lips tightened. Her expression could not be seen, but it was obvious that she disliked Yorozu.

"I have no words to exchange with a worshipper of the demon."

Yorozu blinked, then burst into loud laughter.

"I'm just a woman in love. Is that so terrible?"

She wiped tears from her eyes.

"We both know that isn't true," the Angel retorted. "You worship that monster, you respect no one, and you spent your entire life trampling those beneath you… And yet you dared to reincarnate… Was one lifetime not enough?!"

Hana blinked. She had never heard the Angel this angry before.

"No." Yorozu smiled, a grin stretching from ear to ear. "Until I can show Sukuna the full extent of my love, it will never be enough!"

"Then there is no reason for us to exchange any more words."

The Angel's declaration was final.

Everyone had realized that talking to Yorozu was pointless. The madness and devotion in her eyes made that clear.

As much as Megumi wanted to speak to his sister, he knew that defeating Yorozu was the only way to get her back.

They had to defeat her, or at the very least hold out until reinforcements arrived, no matter what.

"Nobara." Megumi stepped closer to her. "Provide support. Hana and I will be the front line."

Nobara nodded. As much as she wanted to do more, she knew her limitations. In direct combat against someone like Yorozu, she could contribute little, so she would have to act as support while the others protected her from the countless attacks.

At the very least, she would help them as best she could.

Megumi and Hana moved to the front. Yorozu's eyes swept over them for a second before she dismissed them with a roll of her eyes.

"You're not the ones I want to spend my time with, so…

Get lost."

Boom!

A jet of liquid metal struck between the two of them, exploding into spikes that scattered in every direction.

Megumi blocked it by partially summoning Max Elephant, while Hana quickly retreated with a flap of her wings.

To their surprise, Yorozu did not launch another ranged attack. Instead, she shot toward Hana like lightning, her fist becoming coated in a layer of armor.

Boom!

Hana raised her arms, but the moment Yorozu's punch connected, her defense proved useless. Both of her arms snapped in half and her body was launched like a cannonball, smashing through the stadium walls and into the city beyond.

"Hana!" Nobara cried out in alarm.

The armor around Yorozu's fist dissolved as she let out a snort.

"I couldn't let you nullify my technique, could I? After all, I want to be perfectly untouched for Sukuna."

A shadow suddenly fell over her. She blinked and looked up, only to see a massive elephant descending onto her head.

Bam!

The ground was crushed, chunks of concrete flying in every direction.

"Nobara, go help Hana! I'll hold her off!"

Nobara looked at him and hesitated.

"Now!"

At his command, she nodded and turned to run out of the stadium.

Megumi exhaled, sweat running down his forehead as he kept his attention fixed on the crater left by his Shikigami.

"You idiot!" Yorozu shouted furiously, shoving rubble off herself as she emerged with barely a scratch. "You… You dirtied me! You touched me!"

She pointed accusingly at Megumi, veins bulging on her forehead.

"I was supposed to be untouched, perfect, ready for Sukuna, and you ruined that!" Her teeth ground together in rage. "This… This is unforgivable!"

Her fists trembled, her eyes filling with anger and madness.

"I'll make you suffer, and then I'll offer you to Sukuna as an apology!"

Megumi felt every hair on his body stand on end. The danger radiating from her put him on full alert.

"Die!"

Jets of liquid metal shot toward him from every direction, shifting, changing course, and exploding.

Megumi clenched his teeth and immediately took on the reflexes of his Divine Dog, his eyes becoming the characteristic wolf-like eyes.

He leapt over one jet.

Another was blocked by a partially summoned Nue.

A metal spike flew toward him.

He dodged with a roll and charged at Yorozu.

This was his chance.

"Nue…"

Bam!

Yorozu closed the distance instantly and kicked him in the ribs, sending his body rolling like a soccer ball until it crashed into the stadium wall.

Megumi tried to stand despite his dizziness, but a sharp pain in his ribs froze him in place as blood rose up his throat and spilled out in a red spray.

His knees buckled, his hands hitting the ground to keep him from falling face-first.

"Stupid brat." Yorozu brushed dirt off her clothes, barely sparing him a glance as she approached. "What gives you the right to touch me when I belong exclusively to Sukuna?"

She kept drawing closer.

Megumi clenched his teeth, tasting iron in his mouth while the pain in his ribs made it hard to think.

This was not a battle he could win.

This monster had stolen his sister's body, and he could do nothing about it.

Useless. Cowardly. Pathetic.

How could he call himself a Jujutsu sorcerer?

Why had he inherited this technique if he was so weak?

Gojo was wrong… He had no potential.

Then become stronger.

No… Even if he lacked potential, he still had to become stronger. Even if he could not win, he had to give everything until the very end.

For his teacher. For his allies. For his friends. For his sister.

He had to keep going, even if it meant giving every last piece of himself.

Yorozu jumped back when a massive wolf claw burst from a shadow at Megumi's knees. Her eyebrow rose as Divine Dog: Totality emerged to protect its summoner.

Yorozu clicked her tongue, preparing another attack, only for her eyes to widen when the world around her suddenly went dark. The divine wolf dissolved into shadows, revealing Megumi pointing both clenched fists at her.

The howls of countless wolves erupted.

"With this treasure, I summon…"

A vein bulged on her forehead as liquid metal formed around her and shot toward him to interrupt the ritual.

"Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General…"

The wind vanished completely. The jets of liquid metal dropped to the ground as Yorozu's control was abruptly severed.

At the same time, the enormous Divine General appeared behind Megumi, its body wrapped like a cocoon, its mere presence making the air heavy with pressure.

Then, with a brutal tear, its massive form fully emerged and landed firmly on the ground.

Its white skin gleamed with overwhelming power, a golden wheel floating above its head, and its gigantic frame was intimidating in itself.

Even without eyes, replaced by small angelic wings, one thing was clear to both of them.

It saw them perfectly. It saw them as prey.

Megumi smiled at that.

"I'll leave you two alone for a while. Good luck."

With that declaration, Megumi's body sank into a shadow just as Mahoraga's fist crushed the spot where he had been a second earlier.

"Damn you!" Yorozu snarled as the boy escaped, her eyes turning to Mahoraga in disgust. "What kind of joke is…"

Boom!

The distance between them vanished in an instant as the Shikigami's fist slammed into her with enough force to make her fold over and go flying.

Yorozu stabilized herself in the air with her wings, spitting blood into her palm.

"Dirty… Again!"

Veins bulged on her forehead as she glared at Mahoraga with pure fury.

The Divine General showed no concern as it leapt toward her.

Bam!

Before it could reach her, a jet of liquid metal struck its torso, covering it completely and driving it into the ground. Yorozu immediately controlled the metal and pierced straight through its body.

It was not enough to stop him.

Swoosh!

With a slash from the blade on his forearm, coated in positive cursed energy, Mahoraga severed Yorozu's control over the metal. He tore it away from his body, healed instantly, turned toward her, and jumped at her again.

Yorozu gritted her teeth and launched the liquid metal once more.

This time, Mahoraga sliced through it, nullifying her control and reaching her.

Swoosh!

Yorozu barely dodged the sword slash in midair. Mahoraga reached for her with one hand, but she was faster, driving a liquid-metal punch into him and sending him flying.

He's nullifying my control over the liquid metal with that blade? What kind of Shikigami is this?

She watched the massive Shikigami land and turn back toward her as if it could never tire.

What a nuisance! Why are these idiots so desperate to interfere with my love?!

Her fist clenched.

If this was how they wanted to do things, then she would not hesitate anymore. This form was meant to be shown only to her beloved, but under the circumstances, she was sure Sukuna would forgive her afterward.

After all, it was for a greater purpose, for their love.

Mahoraga paused for a moment, his head turning toward Yorozu.

Her body became covered by a thin layer that grew denser and denser as more liquid metal and other materials wrapped around her.

Within seconds, she no longer resembled a woman.

Instead, she wore a living armor that made her look like a massive muscular wasp, with wings on her lower back, a thick, powerful body, a stinger protruding from behind, and jagged teeth that looked capable of crushing stone.

This was the armor she had created through years of research.

The pinnacle of her technique, her Insect Armor.

With this, she believed she could show Sukuna the truest form of her love.

Boom!

Without hesitation, she charged at Mahoraga, their massive bodies colliding head-on.

In the first clash, Yorozu gained the advantage. Her fist struck Mahoraga's, shattering it before smashing into his face and driving him backward.

Mahoraga's fist regenerated instantly, and he counterattacked, but his punch did little against Yorozu's absolute defense.

The two exchanged blows like unstoppable machine guns.

Yorozu struck his face. Mahoraga answered with a punch to her ribs.

Mahoraga tried to cut her, but Yorozu dodged and answered with a barrage of strikes.

Yorozu retreated, Mahoraga pursued, and she pierced him with countless metal spikes.

Yorozu clearly held the advantage. Her blows hit harder, Mahoraga could not break through her defense, and she could retreat and maneuver freely.

Everything was moving toward the cursed user's victory.

CLANK!

At least, until the heavy metallic sound of his wheel turning.

"?!"

As Yorozu pulled back to attack with her liquid metal, she was stunned when the Divine General's speed suddenly exploded, pursuing her faster than ever before.

She raised her arms to block.

Swoosh!

Mahoraga's sword cut through her arm armor as though it were nothing, reducing it to pieces.

Panic flashed across her face. She immediately retreated to rebuild the armor.

But the Shikigami refused to let her escape. He chased her down and drove his blade into the side of her abdomen, destroying part of her armor body.

"Damn it! Get back!"

She created liquid metal and exploded it into a storm of spikes, but it barely slowed the Divine General.

Boom!

A powerful punch smashed into the side of her face, sending Yorozu crashing into the ground like a bullet. Her body bounced across the concrete before she managed to steady herself, the remainder of her armor cracking apart.

"No! No, no, no, no! This won't end like this!"

She staggered to her feet, teeth clenched.

"None of you! None of you will stop me!"

She closed her fist, then opened it to reveal a small metal sphere in her palm.

"It will be me! I will be the one standing beside Sukuna!"

She raised her hand just as Mahoraga charged at her.

"Am I interrupting something?"

Both of them froze as a second voice echoed from above.

"Because if I am, I can come back later."

Yorozu and Mahoraga looked up at the same time.

"I wouldn't want to ruin your little date."

Floating above them, Yuji Itadori wore a mischievous grin as he looked down at the pair with amusement.

"You two seem to have pretty good chemistry."
