Jahx stared through Sol's fingers at the small smile on his face, bathing in regret and lamenting in every choice he had ever made in his life to end up meeting Sol, a regret made evident when he started feeling the fingers wrapped around his face tighten.
His vision blurred from the pain and try as he might the man's hands seemed to stretch to their fullest lengths and still somehow not reach the person before him, the seconds felt like hours, agonising hellish and tormenting as the revelation of death crept slowly across his soul.
"Out there you would have lasted much longer, maybe even given me a good fight, but here, within my soul, inside of my Collective," Sol grinned while the man's eyes bulged and his nose began bleeding after he revealed the long asked question.
