A full year had passed since my birth, and despite my absurd growth rate, I had hit a blockade in my Haki training. My Armament Haki had reached the hardening stage, but I could tell I needed actual combat experience to push it further. The same applied to my Observation Haki—it was developing, but I needed real battles to refine it.
Fortunately, that wasn't an issue. After all, I wasn't just any regular human. I was a hybrid—a Saiyan, a Lunarian, and a Hanma. With the insane potential coursing through my veins, I knew physical training would help break past my limits.
I decided to start simple.
"100 push-ups, 100 squats, a 10-kilometer run. That should be a decent warm-up."
Of course, Garp had noticed me using Haki early on, and the old marine, being the battle-crazed monster he was, decided to take my training into his own hands. Just like how he had trained Luffy, I was thrown into the wild, forced to survive against the beasts of the jungle. But unlike Luffy, I was a literal baby while doing it.
The first real fight I had was against a full-grown tiger. I launched a series of punches, but they barely fazed the beast. Its claws swiped toward my head, landing a deep gash. The wound stung, but thanks to my Saiyan biology, it healed instantly.
I countered with a strike to its stomach, but its hide was tougher than expected. Still, I could feel my body adapting, growing stronger by the second.
And to make things even harder, I was doing all of this blindfolded—just like Gojo Satoru.
Blow after blow, I slammed my fists into the tiger's skull. Each strike carried more force until, finally, the beast collapsed unconscious. With a victorious smirk, I skinned the tiger, started a fire, and cooked its meat with some spices and pepper.
The taste? Perfection.
Time Skip: 3 Years Later
Three years had passed, and I had grown exponentially stronger. Tigers that once gave me trouble now crumpled with a single punch. My physical training had advanced far beyond my initial expectations, and my Observation Haki had progressed to the point where I could now see a fraction of a second into the future. It wasn't much, but it was a start.
Then, I took things to the next level—fighting dinosaurs.
One day, I shadowboxed against an imaginary enemy and, through sheer will, a Tyrannosaurus Rex materialized before me.
The beast roared, shaking the very earth.
I smirked.
"Finally, a real challenge."
It lunged at me, jaws wide enough to swallow me whole. I barely dodged in time, rolling beneath its legs and striking its knee with an Armament Haki-coated punch. The attack barely made it flinch.
I gritted my teeth. This thing was built different.
I leaped onto its back, pounding its skull repeatedly with reinforced blows. My Haki surged, growing stronger with every strike. It wasn't enough to kill it immediately, but after countless attacks, my Armament Haki finally evolved to the next level.
With one final, devastating punch infused with all my power, I caved in the beast's skull.
Victorious, I skinned it, seasoned the meat with salt, pepper, compound butter, and herbs, then cooked it to a perfect medium-rare. The result? The most succulent, mouthwatering meal I'd ever had.
From then on, dinosaurs became nothing more than walking food sources.
By the time I turned four, I was ready for my next milestone—meeting Monkey D. Luffy.
Garp and I traveled to Foosha Village, where I was to stay for a while. The moment we entered the bar, I laid eyes on a three-year-old Luffy and the ever-kind Makino.
Garp introduced me, but before I could say anything, Luffy puffed out his chest and declared,
"I'm gonna be the Pirate King!"
That earned him a Fist of Love from Garp.
"You're gonna be a great marine, not some damn pirate!" Garp scolded, arms crossed. "Pirates are evil, they kill and steal! If you become a pirate, I won't be able to protect you forever! So if you really wanna chase that dream, you'd better get a hell of a lot stronger first!"
With that, Garp left, leaving me, Luffy, and Makino alone.
Luffy and I hit it off instantly. We played, trained, and fought together, slowly building our bond.
Then, at six years old, I sensed something unusual—a powerful presence approaching the village.
"Pirates are coming!" someone screamed.
But I wasn't scared. If anything, I was excited.
At that moment, something deep within me awakened. A wave of power erupted from my body—my Conqueror's Haki had finally manifested. Everyone in the bar, except for Makino and Luffy, collapsed instantly.
The pirates entered.
It was Shanks.
He took one look at me and raised an eyebrow.
"Who the hell are you, kid?"
I smirked. "I'm the greatest pirate you'll ever see—Rocks D. Azrael, son of the strongest man to ever live."
Shanks' eyes widened. "Whaaaaaaat?! You're Rocks D. Xebec's son?! How are you even alive?!"
"I was sent to the future. And soon, I'll have my revenge."
Shanks stared, clearly intrigued. Then, he cautiously asked, "What exactly are you planning?"
I crossed my arms. "I'm going to reveal the world government's biggest secret and reunite the family of D to rebuild the Great Kingdom."
Shanks frowned. "What secret?"
I leaned in.
"The World Government is ruled by an immortal king—Imu. A long time ago, during the Void Century, there was a kingdom ruled by the legendary Nika. But twenty different kingdoms, led by Queen Imu, betrayed them and wiped them out. Nika made a prophecy that in 800 years, he would return to restore the kingdom."
Shanks stiffened. "And…?"
"The reincarnation of Nika is standing right beside me." I pointed at Luffy, who was asleep on the floor.
Shanks' eyes widened further.
"That's his reincarnation?!"
"Yes. And he'll need the Gomu Gomu no Mi to fully awaken his power."
Shanks fell into deep thought, then finally nodded.
"Alright… I'll make sure he gets it."
To truly change the world, I needed power—more than even the strongest devil fruit could offer.
"Take me to the Red Line," I told Shanks.
Once there, I plunged deep into the abyss, searching until I found the Tree of Devil Fruits.
I infused it with the soul fragments of the mightiest warriors—Rocks D. Xebec, Gold D. Roger, Whitebeard, Shiki, Kaido, Big Mom, Luffy, Shanks, and even a piece of my own soul.
With my full Haki unleashed, I forged a new fruit:
The Chaos Dragon God devil fruit
A god type zoan devil fruit capable of copying any devil fruit and controlling pure chaos void energy. Unlike regular fruits, this one had no oceanic weakness, as I infused it with a fragment of Poseidon's soul.
I returned to the surface, presenting the fruit to Shanks.
"This is the strongest devil fruit ever created," I declared. "And I will master it."
Shanks smirked. "Then let's see how strong you really are."
He brought me to Mihawk for training, and from that moment on, I trained relentlessly, honing my swordsmanship, Haki, and Chaos energy.
The world had no idea what was coming.
And soon, they would all learn the name—Rocks D. Azrael.
