Nathanael's pov:
After myself and Avery, it is Richard who shows up at the museum next, the fatigue in his eyes a sufficient indicator as to the kind of day he's had.
Following our initial greetings, silence settles in for a while, but not a long one before I broke it, "Did you go through your interrogations as you planned to?"
"I did," he pulls his sleeve to look at his wristwatch, "Some people caught my eye. I'd like to see them again and this time around in your presence,"
"Who?" I ask.
"First, there's a certain young woman, a certain Rieka. It appears she shared the closest bed to Clarice's,"
"I believe I was present during her first interrogation," my eyebrows furrow, "There was nothing about her that sounded any alarm bells,"
"There seldom is. You have to dig deeper with these people. Never ask straightforward questions and when you do, you make sure to never pay attention to their direct answer," Richard very leisurely pushed his hands in his jacket pockets.
