Kings Landing had proven to be a lot bigger on the inside than Daenerys had thought, far larger. The city was truly giant, and had so many twists and turns that it had quickly become difficult to know where to go, and how to walk. Especially with many of the alleys that they needed to walk down being tiny, and partially falling apart.
Lucifer had helped with that though, as every time they had stepped through an alleyway that was actively crumbling, her power would kick in and repair it. Nobody would notice until they left later on though, so they were the only ones who walked through it as if it was not damaged and crumbling.
The place that they had decided to visit first had been decided on earlier in the day. And the dragon pit had been that place. Lucifer wanted to visit it on the off chance that there were any surviving dragon eggs there that she could give to Daenerys. She also wanted to visit there as she remembered that there may or may not be the valyrian steel sword, lamentation inside of the crumbled and destroyed pit.
Lamentation had been lost during the dance of the dragons, during the storming of the dragonpit that had led to the death of its user and owner, Willam Royce. This had led to the sword being lost to the family that had owned it for countless generations, House Royce.
Lucifer wasn't particularly interested in the blade itself, but she was interested in using it in the future. If Daenerys truly did decide to conquer the Seven Kingdoms and bring it back under her families banner, then she would need allies. And using the sword that had belonged to the Royce's for thousands of years could be a good way to at the very least, start talks regarding the family helping her in her mission.
On top of that she had also already grabbed Brightroar from Old Valyria, this meant that at the very least Daenerys would be able to sell it back to the Lannisters for a ludicrous amount of Gold dragons, helping drain some of their funds, while also giving her a good bit of coin to use to deal with some other things.
She'd make sure that her potential daughter was rich when she started her conquest. As beyond just that avenue, there was also the easiest one, which was taking out Petyr Baelish, who had funneled a LOT of coin into his own pockets by stealing it from the royal vaults, leading to the kingdoms being in a living shit load of debt to not only the Lannisters but also the much more dangerous, and far more difficult to deal with, Iron Bank.
The Iron Bank was one of the most powerful forces in the entire world, capable of funding and fielding armies large enough to easily turn the tide of just about any war that you can think of. And it was thanks to this that should Robert Baratheon go to war with Daenerys in the future, the Iron Bank would be far more willing to support her in the war, so long as she repays them.
And with who Lucifer was, the potential of stealing all of Petyr's wealth, and getting funding from the Lannisters (unknowingly), such a thing would be easy to do. She would have millions of gold dragons by the time that she decided whether or not she actually wanted to go to war for the Seven Kingdoms.
On top of that she would have three dragons, the backing of the Dornish, most of the Crownlands, the Reach (most likely at least), the Starks (who would undoubtedly help her in that endeavor), and therefore the Riverlands on top of that. Thus she would have a monumental force off the bat.
And that was without the potential idea of gaining armies from across the seas in the form of the unsullied and other slave armies that she could free and offer to pay for joining her. This way she is not committing the atrocity that was slavery, and she would still be able to gain an army for herself.
Really Daenerys would not need an army, not really. Her three dragons would be more than enough by themselves, since they were blessed by Lucifer to a certain degree. This meant that the dragons were almost certainly going to be larger and stronger than the likes of Balerion the Black Dread and Vhagar, the largest dragon in known history, and the second largest.
That wasn't even including the idea of Lucifer helping her gain armies. As there was an infinite amount of worlds out there that would have willing soldiers that would love to help Daenerys in her quest. She would just need to dip into a normal Earth world with little differences, and ask the Romans or Greek or Spartans to join her quest, and they probably would.
Simply for the chance to serve their God, who was Lucifer. On top of that they would be given the potential to live in new lands, and spread their beliefs further than their own world. It would be hard to find someone that would not want to do that, would not want to expand and grow as a people.
At the very least, Lucifer was pretty sure the ancient Romans would want to work with her. The Spartans were also somewhat likely, not as much though.
Hell, Lucifer could even get the faceless men to help her, since she was the God of Death that they worshipped so much. Or she could find assassins from other worlds to help, like the Creed from Assassins Creed, they would probably love to help her with their desire to fight in the shadows for the light.
Basically, no matter what situation Daenerys finds herself in, she would have an army at her back, wealth in her purse, and dragons in the skies. The only area that she would need to actually prepare for, was the navy side of things. And that was only because the dragons could be harmed if the Lannisters funded enough scorpions like they had in canon. As it was those scorpions that had led to the death of one of her dragons (as stupid as that death was).
All it would take is one good shot from one of those scorpions and her dragon would be dead...probably.
At the moment Lucifer was walking through the markets of Kings Landing with Daenerys and Alice at her sides. The two of them had skewers in their hands that they were munching on, with what looked to be duck or chicken as the meat. They even had some basic seasonings on the meat.
It didn't look the best in the world, but the two of them were eating it, so it couldn't be that bad.
"Are they good?" Lucifer asked, glancing at the two as they ate.
Daenerys shrugged.
"It's okay. Better than a lot of the nasty food I ate in Essos" Daenerys responded, with Alice nodding in agreement.
"They're not really seasoned the best, but they're edible" Alice added, agreeing with Daenerys' assessment of the food.
"It's honestly a lot better than I was expecting out of the markets here. Never knew Kings Landing could have good food, I thought that'd be a Essos or Dornish thing" Ailce added, as she had never heard of Kings Landing having good food. It was Essos that was known for having incredible meals, and Dorne was a close second.
But Kings Landing had surprised her...a bit at least.
"What're you going to do with that sword, M-Lucifer?" Daenerys asked, catching herself once again. She has had to do it several times now, and it is becoming more and more frequent.
"Hmm, not sure. I think I'll save it for the future. It's too bad that there were not any dragon eggs left though" Lucifer replied to the little girl, the sword known as Lamentation hid on her waist. It was actually a pretty good sword, much to her own surprise. Not even remotely close to her own, but good enough.
"...Okay. And um...where are we going now?" Daenerys asked, curious.
Hearing her question, Lucifer looked over at the little girl with a small smirk forming on her face, a smirk that had also appeared on her wife's face, as they glanced at one another, before Lucifer looked back down at the girl, and asked her a very important question.
"How would you like to see Balerion the Black Dread in the flesh?"
