[1st POV | Rose]
It has been an amazing month since I have moved to the Salvatore Boarding school. A truly incredible month that was unlike anything I could have expected when deciding to start my schooling here.
And almost all of that was thanks to one person. An individual that made my heart beat out of my chest unlike anything else I have ever experienced. The person that makes my cheeks flush whenever she looks at me with that beautiful gaze of hers. The person that makes me laugh harder than ever before.
That person was Hope Mikaelson, my beautiful, gorgeous, incredible, fantastic mate. She still didn't know the truth, that I am her mate, she only knew what I let her know. Like things about Mama and Mom, like the fact that I have sisters in the form of Beatrix, Bloom, Vi, and Powder.
The fact that I am good at magic, and love to learn new things related to it.
I told her everything about myself that I could, at least everything that wouldn't make her think of me differently. Like the fact that I am lesbian, my unique species I have been formed into thanks to Mama, and all the other unique things about me.
Over the month we had traveled around the area, going out to Mystic Falls frequently, going to the little food spot down there that tasted great. We learned more about one another during that time.
Like how I learned that Hope Mikaelson loves art, like, a lot. And the fact that she is really really talented in art and painting. She had even made a portrait of me that I loved and now have hung on my wall.
In return I fixed the painting that she had with her father that had been destroyed by Josie back when she had a crush on her. I felt a little bad for Josie, but with Hope being my mate, I couldn't find it in me to care much.
At the same time, I had become friends with Josie.
Josie is a sweet girl, and we hang out frequently. The girl was super shy and honestly adorable with the way she struggled to speak at some times. But at the same time she is strong and incredibly intelligent.
The opposite of her sister.
My relationship with Lizzie is...complicated to say the least.
Mostly because she is a bitch. She is arrogant, narcissistic, ignorant, and the most emotionally unstable person I have ever met in my entire life. And that is saying a lot, because I remember Lily and James Potter and that son of theirs.
But Lizzie? She's truly terrible.
Sure, I know for a fact that she can improve as a person, but I also knew that she will likely always be this way. The borderline bullying that she extends towards her younger sister Josie, the way she thinks she is smarter and better than everyone else.
She is not smarter or better than her sister, that's for sure. And she isn't even remotely close to Hope, or me for that matter.
Hope absorbed the power of the Hollow, or parts of it, according to my calls with mama, so she'll be a lot stronger in the coming months. And with that power there will be few people in this world that can contend beyond my family.
At the moment I am in my shared room with Hope. The two of us sharing a bedroom had been an...experience so far. I have walked in on a half nude Hope more than once, which...I can't say I mind much.
And in return, she has walked in on a half nude version of me too. It was always funny seeing her reaction to me in my bra or whatever else I am changing into.
Laying back in my bed, I sighed "I really need to find more things to do here" I muttered to myself.
The only downside of this school was that there wasn't really a lot to do beyond studying, training, doing some sports, or hanging out with friends. As Alaric had pretty strict rules around magic and its use.
Which is the reason why I am not particularly fond of the guy. I far prefer my Mama's teachings, and I am pretty certain that Caroline will be far better than him once she finally gets back next week.
I was cut off from my muttering as the door to our shared room opened, and in walked Alaric. But he looked...nervous?
"Rose, I need you to come with me" Alaric said, as I gazed at him.
"Why?" I asked, only to pause when I felt it below. The power, the warmth, the love.
My family was here!
"Your family is here. And...so is Hope's" Alaric responded to me, as I grinned and jumped to my feet. I've always wanted to meet Klaus Mikaelson and Kol Mikaelson, so I wasn't about to let go of this chance.
Plus Hope might need a shoulder to cry on with her family finally being able to return.
So without even giving Alaric a chance to say anything more, I marched past him ready to see my mama and family again. As well as ready to meet my mates family for the first time.

[3rd POV]
Sitting below in the headmasters office, were the Mikaelsons and Morningstars. They had been sitting there for a couple of minutes now, waiting for Hope and Rose to arrive.
Alaric had naturally been shocked when he saw the Mikaelsons on his doorstep. But after they explained that the Hollow had been destroyed and its power was now flowing into Hope (without any of the negatives), Alaric had naturally been horrified.
But at the same time, he knew better than to complain about it to the Morningstars and Mikaelsons. So instead he had just marched off to gather the two girls from wherever they were, knowing their family wanted to see them.
"He's taking quite some time" Rebekah commented, looking over her nails with a bored expression on her face. All she really wanted was to see her niece, but it would seem that Alaric is taking a long time to get her for some reason.
"They're coming right now" Lucifer responded, sensing them as they began to make their way downstairs and towards the office that they were all in.
Her kids were all gathered around glancing at the room and noticing the various unique books that the man seemed to own.
The door opened a few moments later as Alaric walked in alongside a smiling Rose. Hope walked in with a confused expression, only for it to warp into wide eyed shock as she saw her entire family standing there.
"D-Dad?" Hope whispered, seeing Klaus standing there, staring at his daughter with a warm smile on his face.
"Hello Littlest Wolf" Klaus responded, laughing happily as his daughter barreled into him, hugging him close as the others in the room watched with smiles. It was a cute sight, seeing the teen so happy to see her dad after so long.
"H-How did you get here? I thought you couldn't come back?" Hope asked, pulling back as she wiped away her tears.
"You've got Lucifer to thank for that, honey. She's taken care of the curse that was stopping them from getting close to us" Hayley answered, which made Hope look at Lucifer.
"The curse they're talking about was a nasty little thing called the "Hollow" a dark spirit. I took the liberty of crushing it, and purifying its power. That power is now going to be flowing into you over the next couple of years until you become an adult" Lucifer explained, as Hope stared at her with a thankful look on her face.
"I-I don't know what to say" Hope replied, as Lucifer just smiled.
"You don't have to say anything, Hope. Just enjoy the fact that you no longer have to be separated from your family" Lucifer responded, as the teen looked to the rest of her family and began to move to each of them, hugging each and every single member that she hadn't seen in years.
All the while Rose had a bright smile on her face. And as she watched it all, Lucifer had only one thought on her mind.
