Lady amara did not response but rather she turned her head towards the large gates of the castle. The very same gates that kept her as a hostage despite being married to the king. She knew little to nothing about the outside world and she wondered if maybe this would be the right time for her to explore and live the life that was denied to her. It wouldn't be a bad idea now, would it?
At the very same time, the two of them heard footsteps and although Amara turned her head, Gabriel didn't bother and from the corner of her eye, she spotted him run his fingers through his silky hair. It was Esther.
"What a way to ruin such a beautiful moment sister!" Gabriel said as he plucked a green leaf which soon dried in his palm where he squeezed it casually before watching it fall on the ground.
"And how would I be ruining it when it's clear as day that she doesn't want you?"
Esther snapped and her words came as a surprise to Amara. Was she talking about her?!
