In the middle of an arena, two men were battling in the martial arts tournament.
Up and above the spectators view, a small private tent area was set up. Esdeath and Run was in it, while Wave was the host for the whole tournament.
"What do you think of these ones, General?" Run asked, seeing the match on going.
Esdeath seating on her throne, replied with a board look. "Dull warriors make for a dull fight. I guess I was overly optimistic to hope someone fit to wield the Imperial Arm would show up."
Hearing the fight is over, Run commented. "Oh, it seems we have a winner."
Wave was holding a mic to announce the victor of the match. "The winner is Nobunaga, the Dried-Goods Merchant!"
After the previous match was over, up next is the final match. "On the East side... Kalbi the Butcher!" Wave announced.
Kalbi is a very large, well-built man, with a bull-like head.
Waved continued, "And on the west side... Tatsumi the Blacksmith!"
Leone and Lubbock were in the stands, watching the battles, "That's an interesting title." Leone said. "How is he at striking iron?"
Lubbock eating some popcorn replied, "Not as good as me, but he's not half bad."
Meanwhile in another side of the stands, Kakashi a lot closer to field than Lubbock and Leone.
"Hmm, Tats is going to win this no problem." Kakashi looked at him giving a bunch of combos on his opponent.
"Oh! Its you! The wise guy!" Seryu's voice could be head near him.
'You're shitting me...' Kakashi looked to his right. "You look familiar..."
"I was the guard you met weeks ago. I had longer hair that time. And I don't think you'll forget about my dog." Seryu pointed at her dog.
Kakashi seeing her dog stand on two feet gave a crooked smile. "Yeah... I remember how unique your Imperial Arm is. So are you here as a guard this time?"
Seryu shook her head, "No, I'm just here to watch the matches. Maybe the winner might join us, Jaegers. Also, you are right... The world isn't simple as black and white. I checked with some people I know and the Night Raid has been killing corrupted officials. But... I'm still a soldier bounded to the capital, so I can't let them off hook either."
'It looks like you've matured about after our last encounter.' Kakashi glanced at the girl. He smiled, "Here's another advise, in a world that is as cruel as ours. Don't always think that people you're allied with aren't using you for their benefits."
Seryu blinked in surprised. "What do you mean by that?"
Before Kakashi could reply, Tatsumi won the match and flashed an innocent smile. Esdeath seeing this, blushed and walked down towards the stadium.
"Tatsumi. That's your name, right? I like it." Esdeath complimented.
"Th-thanks." Tatsumi sweat dropped a little. 'So this is Esdeath, former commander of the Three Beast Warriors.'
"You're victory just now was magnificent" She said, snapping Tatsumi out of his thoughts. "I'd like to reward you for your efforts." She was pulling something out of her bra while walking towards him.
"Thank you very much." Tatsumi replied. 'Money is still money, regardless of the source. I'll be glad to accept it.'

Esdeath put a collar with a leash on Tatsumi. "From now on, you belong to me."
"Wh-What?" Tatsumi surprised at what's the scene unfolding.
Esdeath turned and started dragging Tatsumi. "There are too many distractions out here."
"Oi, Seryu, what the hell is going on?" Kakashi asked her a bit pissed.
Seryu jumped at hearing his tone. "U-um..."
Seryu: General! What do you like to do in your free time here?
Esdeath: Mostly, hunting, torturing and research thereof. But at the moment... I'm interested in finding in love.
"It might be because she's in love?" Seryu answered unsure.
Kakashi eyebrow raised, "In love? You're telling me she's in love with him?!"
Seryu nodded quickly. "Um... Do you know him? I can check it out with General Esdeath, if that's the case."
Kakashi sighed, "I may not know him personally, but he's part of the village I was raised in... Sorry, just hearing the rumors about the general made me panic a bit." He got up and started walking away. "I'm going back to the village and inform them about this. See ya." Kakashi lied, as he was leaving the area.

Back at the Night Raid's base.
"So he's not in trouble?" Lubbock asked in with everyone present.
"No, apparently not." Kakashi scratched his head. "I'm going to check it out with another Jaeger member I know. Hopefully, what the girl said is true."
Akame nodded, "Alright, in the meantime... We should move our base further into the mountains."
Everyone left the room leaving Kakashi and Akame alone.
"How are you holding up?" Akame asked him.
"Fine... Just fine. I just wished it was me who was taken instead. I could probably fight back in case my identity was discovered." Kakashi answered. "But... Seeing the look Esdeath gave him, he's probably going to be fine. And when we do get him back, Mine's going to probably going to hug him... Isn't that right, Mine?"
Mine was behind the wall of the room, eavesdropping on them. "I can never get past your senses, huh?"
Kakashi stood up and started walking away. "Akame, help her out with the love stuff. I'm going on a solo mission."

"This is our newest member of the Jaegers, Tatsumi." Esdeath held his hand while smiling. "And my lover."
Tatsumi tried to escape Esdeath's grip. "Wait! I didn't agree to any of this! I was just trying to win the money for my village!"
Waved sighed, "Tatsumi right? At least, you're not the only person born from outside the capital."
"By the way, is any of you married or who has a lover?" Esdeath asked.
Bols raised up his hand surprising everyone. "Yes, I've been married for six years now. I really don't deserve someone as wonderful as her though!"
'Seriously?!' Wave thought with a surprised face.
"Phew... It doesn't seem Tatsumi is going to die... At least the white haired guy is going to be in a good mood when I tell him he's friend isn't in danger." Seryu muttered.
Wave heard her and kept quite about it. 'Is she talking about Kakashi?'
Suddenly, a soldier knocked on the door and entered. " Lady Esdeath! As ordered, I've finished the report regarding the area around Gyogan lake..."
Esdeath grinned. "Great... This timing is perfect. You guys, your first big job has come up."
After she was done briefing on their mission, they set off towards their targets.
When they arrived at the location, Esdeath said that she will observe how they will deal with them.
"Is this the bandits' fortress?"
"That's right. Our first major operation as the Jaegers is to bring this place down."
"What's our strategy?"
The Jaegers discussed among themselves.
"Justice is bold. We attack head on!" Seryu exclaimed.
As the Jaegers were attacking the fortress, killing every bandit they see. A white haired teen was close by.
"Hmmm it seems that they can be useful allies in the future..." Kakashi muttered and see Tatsumi with Esdeath not to far from his place. "I-Is she blushing while holding his hand? Well, it seems Seryu was telling the truth. Problem is, how am I supposed to get him back. Maybe, another time... Looks like they're done with the bandits... I was hoping to take them down myself, but since they did the job for him, I'll just report back with the others."
Kakashi quickly disappeared from there and was on his way back to the Night Raid before there was an ice wall in front of him. "You know, that's quite cold of you to do that... Esdeath." Kakashi turned around and saw that Esdeath, Tatsumi and all the Jaegers were there.
"Tough crowd..." Kakashi muttered before blocking Kurome's attack. 'Hmm, she feels awfully similar to Akame.' He kicked her away and landed on a tree branch.
"State your business, Red Eye Demon. Why were you near the bandits' fortress? I didn't think you would be one to side with those scums." Esdeath asked.
"Well, I was in a bad mood and was hoping to kill them all to release my bad mood... But you guys killed them already, so let's just walk away in peace. We don't need any casualties to happen." Kakashi threatened a bit.
Bols spoke, "Red Eye Demon..." He suddenly bowed his head. "Thank you for saving my wife and daughter! They told me that you saved them from almost being murdered and rape! So thank you, form the bottom of my heart!"
Esdeath unfroze the ice wall from earlier. "Would you like to join the Jaegers? I know who you've killed, they were all the Prime Minister's allies."
"And you still offered me to join the Jaegers despite knowing that?" Kakashi's eyes narrowed.
Esdeath shook her head. "They were all corrupted anyways, and I don't think the Prime Minister would be displeased with you on our team."
Kakashi sighed, "Let me do you one better. Join me, or the Night Raid and take down the Prime Minister. You know how corrupted he is, and how he treats others."
"I can't do that Red Eye Demon. I am still a general to the Imperial Palace. So my answer is no." Esdeath replied.
"I see... Well, at least I tried. Also, we won't touch the Emperor. He is still a child, after all. However, should he make some irreversible decisions... I don't believe the people would let him live." Kakashi warned. "See ya, and I hope this war ends soon." Kakashi used his sharingan and teleported away.

"What?!" The Night Raid yelled out.
Kakashi was finally back at base, explaining to them what he found. "Oh by the way, Mine. I hope you can win Tatsumi's heart, Esdeath is in love with him."
"Hmph!" Mine looked away.
Kakashi chuckled. "For now, it seems they will be focusing on other things instead of us. So let's just wait for a better opportunity to get Tatsumi out of her grasp."
"Still, to think you would offer to switch sides. You must be really captivated by her beauty- Ow!" Lubbock teasingly said before being kicked in the shin by Kakashi.
"Akame, I need to speak with you in private after this meeting." Kakashi whispered into her ears. She nodded seeing the seriousness in his eyes.
After Akame and Kakashi's entered his room they both sat on the bed. "What is it that you need to tell me, Kakashi?"
"Akame..." Kakashi said softly. "Do you know what happened to your sister?"
Akame eyes widened. "No... after we were separated, I couldn't find her before joining the Night Raid. I thought she was dead all this time... is that the case?" Akame's eyes were watering a bit.
"No, she's alive. But... she's working with Esdeath and part of the Jaegers." Akame jumped up happily, but Kakashi's next words made her face grim. "Don't worry, I will make sure that any of the Jaegers who don't deserve it, won't die. That includes your sister. So, don't worry about the future too much, and just live in the present knowing that your sister is alive. This time... allow me to take care of you, just like how you've taken care of me." Kakashi wiped her tears away and embraced her into a hug.
Akame couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out crying. After she was done crying, she fell asleep in his arms.
"I'll make sure you won't suffer anymore, Akame." Kakashi kissed her on the forehead softly and placed her on his bed. Kakashi lay beside her cuddling her before he fell asleep.
