Kazuki and Magnus were flying through the air as they spammed attacks at each other relentlessly. Kazuki fired purple lightning and flames at incredible speed, while Magnus created massive slashes to evade and counter the attacks. Kazuki while flying at incredible levels of speeds was dodging and flipping in mid air, using his sword to cut through every attack that flew at him. As he did so, he dove at Magnus like a beam of light and stated having an intense blade fight with him in the air as they flew around. Purple lightning, purple flames and giant spikes of steel crashed through the city.
They continued this exchange for several moments, and the sheer power of their battle was causing devastating amounts of destruction. Forests, hills and even the mountains surrounding them were getting obliterated in seconds.
Kazuki began forming giant spiritual shurikens and launched them one after another at Magnus. Magnus was fast enough to dodge a few, but he suddenly noticed five more appearing above him. They crashed down simultaneously, causing an even larger explosion.
Magnus emerged unharmed, but the metal-like armor covering his body had begun to melt slightly.
Still airborne, Kazuki spoke calmly,
"Nice. You somehow survived my spiritual shurikens. That's pretty neat. But you're still weak."
Magnus snarled back,
"Your arrogance will be the death of you! Keep talking like that and I'll send your ass straight to heaven."
Kazuki smirked.
"Oh really? Then make it happen. You haven't landed a single hit on me, yet you're already acting like you've won."
Magnus replied coldly, a smirk on his face
"I'm not doing anything to you. I'm just here to distract you."
Suddenly, a massive mountain of ice came charging toward Kazuki. He noticed it instantly, yet he wasn't fazed in the slightest. He flew out of the way, the mountain of ice fell to the ground and caused a powerful explosion of debries. Kazuki was able to avoid the attack, only to see even more gigantic pillars of ice rushing toward him from above and below at dangerous speeds.
Kazuki began weaving through the pillars as they tore through the environment, muttering to himself,
"Hmmm. Creating giant ice pillars and firing them at rapid speed? Not bad. But that's not going to do a thing to me."
Activating his purple flames, Kazuki flew straight toward the incoming ice pillars at full speed, blasting through them one after another with incredible power. As he did, he noticed Elisa above him, gathering an extremely powerful ice attack.
She fired it immediately.
Kazuki countered by unleashing an overwhelming surge of purple flames. The clash devastated the surrounding area, reducing forests, the wastelands outside the city, and several mountains to ruins. He clicked his tounge "Tch! My house better not get caught in this.".
As the smoke cleared, Kazuki descended to the ground. He glanced at his arm and realized part of it had been frozen solid.
"Huh," Kazuki said.
"Using ice is cool and all—especially when you can freeze things down to absolute zero. But how do you think that'll work on me?"
Elisa hovered in the air, a massive tornado of ice swirling around her as the surroundings rapidly froze.
"Thanks for the praise," she replied.
"But it won't help you. I can freeze anything to absolute zero. It's surprising that you're not affected."
Kazuki melted the ice on his arm with his purple flames and scoffed.
"Yeah, yeah. Sure. All I know is that you guys are cooked. When I'm done with you, there'll be nothing left but ashes."
Standing beside Elisa on a tower, Magnus added, a confident smirk on his face
"After you, we'll go after that demon boy. Then you'll see how pathetic you really are."
Kazuki burst out laughing "HAHAHAHA! HAHAHA!".
"Oh my God, Jesus help me. With jokes like that, I might actually die of laughter."
Magnus growled,
"What's so funny, you lunatic?"
Kazuki wiped a tear from his eye and replied,
"Oh, nothing. But seriously—do you really think you can beat Alex? You guys can't even beat Tobi, or Sōn, or maybe even Kinto. And you think you can handle Alex?"
He laughed even harder before calming down "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!", a smirk spreading across his face.
"Look, I don't know what the higher-ups have been feeding you, but there's no way you can touch Alex—let alone kill him. You're better off fighting me, and I'll still kill you. Honestly, I'm being generous."
Magnus and Elisa felt deeply insulted. Both began charging powerful attacks and combined them before launching the attack at full force toward Kazuki.
Kazuki raised his hands, purple flames blazing on them before firing an equally powerful blast to meet it. The collision caused a massive explosion in the city.
When the smoke cleared, Kazuki noticed blood dripping from his chest and nose. His eyes widened slightly.
"How… was I able to take damage?"
Magnus smirked.
"By combining my steel with Elisa's ice, we created an attack strong enough to bypass anything. As long as it's a combined attack, we can break through all defenses. Elisa's cold, and my sharp steel. How does it feel knowing you're about to die you arrogant fool?"
Magnus suddenly froze "Huh?". Kazuki was generating an overwhelming amount of lightning and purple fire around his body.
With a wicked smirk, Kazuki said,
"So as long as the attack is combined, it can bypass others? Fine then. What happens when I use a combined attack that counters yours? I wonder!"
Purple lightning crackled violently.
"My lightning can melt both steel and ice very easily. What do you think happens when I add fire to make it even worse?"
Kazuki's smile twisted into insanity.
"I'll roast you into oblivion. I'll make sure there won't be a single trace of you left!", he growled
The lightning and flames shot out of his body with incredible power, forming a massive tornado that spread across the city. Kazuki continued pouring power into it, but the attack began to grow unstable and uncontrollable.
Magnus and Elisa were overwhelmed with fear, they both were stunned on the amount of power Kazuki was generating. Magnus shouted to Elisa "HEY, ELISA! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!".
As they attempted to flee, Kazuki said a few chants.
"Die and burn away by the god of lightning and flames, and be consumed by the very power that burns hotter than the sun itself!".
"Ultimate Technique: Inferno God!", Kazuki roared the name of his new attack.
