Rahun gently opened her eyes and they met the cold eyes of the semonio Infront of her, the same scared he had seen before she_she could barely remember anything afterwards.
Her eyes rummaged at her surroundings.
An old barn with one window and no piece of furniture except the one she was bounded to,she could tell by the grain bags stuck in piles around her.
She tried to move but noticed she was tied up with clothing placed over her lips.
"Fear not....I mean you no harm"he said as he drew closer before pulling the piece of clothing away.
"Let me go!...I don't have anything,no money...I am but a lowly slave".
"I Know...I know you as well as the injustice you've suffered...how the royal family took everything away from you and I mean what I said earlier...I will give you back everything you've lost".
He crouched low to untie her but she didn't move a limb.
Rahun's brows furrowed,her eyes communicating the pain she felt as memories came flooding back in.
"I don't suppose you can bring back the dead can you?...All I want is my family back but they are long dead and there is nothing you can do about it".
Dark flashed a mischievous grin then the door flew open permitting strong rays of sunlight inside which caused her to throw her face aside.
As the stepped aside,to shut the door,the sun's rays permitted her of them,her jaw dropped,eyes bulging at the sight that she reminded in the same spot until he approached her with their daughter.
"Rahun!"he called out.
His voice was still the same,hoarse as ever,his eyes teary as he embraced her.
The years had grown on her but he remained the same,ever delighted he had recognized her, perhaps still loved and wanted to be with her despite her wrinkled skin.
"Why did you leave me"Rahun cried as she kissed his face before hitting on his chest with her fists.
"You dummy...I told you not to do it,I told you not to why!!"
"Rahun!"he called out softly as he grabbed her fist."I am here now and I won't ever leave you again"
He placed a hand on her face,his fingers carcassing her wrinkled skin.
"You've aged beautifully,you are still as beautiful as when I met you...it's not too late to bear one more child"he grinned.
Rahun withdrew,shocked.
"But u never wanted more children before... you always shunned me anytime I mentioned it"
"I...I uhh never wanted more slave children...but he is willing to free us and send us to the human world through a portal...we will never be apart again".he said and Rahun pulled them both into a hug.
She withdrew gently before turning towards dark.
"What do you want in return?"
"Just a simple reward"he said as he placed a small Vail in her hand.
"Ensure to put this in the imperial prince's meal".
Rahun stared at the Vail before her gaze settled back on him
"I...I could never harm a child...I would prefer the emperor dies instead".
Dark's face curved into a smirk.
"Oh he will,but first the crown prince must be gotten rid of
..as long as the imperial blood flows through him,he is tainted by it".
"What grudge do you hold against the emperor and how am I certain you would do what you promised...you are a wanted offender after all".
"That is not your concern....you will just have to trust me".
Rahun nodded and placed the Vail into her clothing pocket before her head dropped.
"It...it is a difficult task...no one can visit the Emperess's chambers".
"Not for you who oversees gathering medicinal herbs and ingredients for the Emperess's chamber.The crown prince has passed the age of breastfeeding and now feeds on solid food and these ingredients are brought from the outside...Although the emperor oversees the whole process and the herbs are well tested by the physicians,that rare poison cannot easily be detected by the cheap tricks they pull, I've also placed my own men in the lot just incase....if you turn against me"
Dark scoffed as he grabbed her arm.
"I don't suppose you will but I assume u know how much I crave to spill the blood of my foes".
Rahun withdrew her hand her brows furrowed but dark grabbed it again,his grinning face leaning in
"Good...then we have a deal!"

Ren had left to fetch Carolene before Tyran excused zero after getting a telepathic message from an assassin.
He had put up an antisound and teleportation barrier before the assassin appeared bowing on one knee with his face lowered and a sword at his side.
"You lot have been useless all these while, unable to fetch me any meaningful information all these while...I've been going in circles eversince unable to revenge her"Tyran fumbled, his brows furrowed.
His Assassin only appeared to meet him whenever they had useful information and for a long time whoever killed Fiona and perhaps Gerald had been playing them all like chess pieces on a board.
He knew their moves before they made it while they were only met with dead ends.
At the moment the most crucial information would be Dark's where about,but eversince he was banished not even his assassin had found any trace of him.
"Your knight appears to be close to the chief Knight Athena.."
"Is that all?"
"No....there is more...The sorceror Dark as sighted abducting a slave at the district of Wehmak east of the palace".
"A servant?.... describe her"
"In her middle ages he started off with dropping a cloak on her while she shivered from the cold before knocking her out".
Tyran placed a hand to his beard as he placed back and forth.
"He must be plotting something...Athena and you have been watching her?"
"Closely watching them both your Imperial majesty and they haven't contacted any suspicious person's yet....they know nothing of us but we suspect they have severed ties with the others"
"Closely watching while he attacked my son?!"
"My....my apologies your majesty...Even our hell dogs couldn't track him because he marked his scent.If my life would atone_"
"That means zero was acting on his own which could only mean he had severed ties with them ...but why?... because they killed his knight?.... maybe he was only after the imperial prince from the beginning...why?".
Tyran backed him, thinking
Why else but the prophecy,that would explain why he hated the royal family for keeping the imperial prince alive.
He turned when he smelt Ren and carolene behind him.
"You may leave"he told the assassin who bowed again before vanishing.
"As expected of you General...my barriers are a piece of bread to break through".
Ren didn't answer but turned to leave.
"You may stay...Today General I will prove how much I trust you".
