I started with the more serious stuff as I asked, "Mother, Father, you do know that one day, I won't have a choice but to have a conversation and a deal with those dragons, correct? Why are you asking me to be weary of them and deal with them last?"
It was the first time I saw my father get serious about something. With a deep voice that I have never heard him use, he answered, "For one, they are greedy in every aspect, may it be power, money, resources, mates, children, everything. Though they don't look like it, they are the most desperate of all the races to have children in this world."
I looked at my father in confusion and asked, "They live for a very long time, right? Even if they don't have children for hundreds of years, they will just be fine since they have a lot of time."
