Lately, Mier has been happy with the setup that she and her friends have made recently. After getting the approval from her Mother, who kept saying no in the past, she began to properly train her magic with the others. She is clumsy at using it at first, but she was hoping to master it and be able to prove to her mother that she can do something without having to keep relying on her mother's protection. Protection from something she has no idea or memory of.
Whenever she wanted to ask her Mother about the one that she is being protected from, she couldn't receive a proper answer as her Mother would either talk small about it, or just stop talking about it altogether. And she was not permitted to use magic before unless it was necessary. If not for the fact that her Aunt Elaina decided to talk her mother out of this, she would not even be able to use magic openly.
