Despite the Sword Seed dealing lots of damage against the skeletons, it isn't avoidable for it to get damaged. The skeletons in the area still manages to attack and wound the Sword Seed. And so, even though it managed to shred all over the horde of skeletons in the process, it wasn't enough to decimate every skeletons in the way and ended up dying in the process.
"Ah! Mother, your plant!" Layla pointed out as the Sword Seed deliver a final slash to one skeleton before it was bitten and torn to pieces by one of the skeletons, causing it to wilt and die.
"With how many skeletons attacking it since earlier, I was impressed that it managed to last that long. Still, thanks to that, the enemies in the area has thinned out. We can now proceed into the area without fearing for ambush and wipe them all out before they become a real problem," Alfred suggested.
