Just then the earth began to shake, parts of the ceiling started to break and rocks were falling all around.
"We got to get out of here." Klaus said to which Yuno created his wind vehicle and had everyone jump on.
I created my wind wings and flew alongside them.
"Ranto what are you doing? Get on!" Yuno said urgently.
"Don't worry about me, I'll fly ahead of you guys and help take out any obstacles." I said as a ball of swirling wind formed around me the wings disappearing and I started to float in the air.
Yuno nodded and then watched in shock as mini tornado appeared around the Diamond Kingdom Mage bringing him toward me and a sphere of wind appeared around him as well.
"What are you doing? Don't you remember he just tried to kill us?!" Klaus asked angrily.
Just then Asta groaned as he spoke.
"We were given a mission to explore the dungeon and find the treasure, not to kill." Asta said graining in pain through every word or two his voice hoarse from the pain.
As we were flying around Luck told Yuno that he could guide us out and began to give directions.
As we were flying, debris started ro fall everywhere and I sent giant spheres of air at the rocks destroying them in the process.
The air balls would explode upon contact and a shockwave of wind would blow the debris to the sides.
I was making sure to do all the work as I felt guilty.
I was allowing my family to be hurt because I knew they needed to grow, I was almost willing to let my little brother be seriously injured for that same reason.
I thought I could do everything myself, but I can't. I'm not strong enough without relying on my trump card.
I should've treated Mars as a villain that needed to be stopped not a future ally, he may eventually turn good, but at that time he was bad and I should've ended it when I had the chance.
I was a fool, I made such stupid mistakes. But don't worry.....I won't make the same mistakes again.
"There's our exit." Yuno said as we finally found the way out.
We made it out before the dungeon collapsed.
Just as we made it out, we were greeted with a thick cloud of black smoke.
'Lotus' I thought as I assumed he'd want Mars and I'll let him have him as he is no longer a threat for me and he'll be good when I next meet him.
The black cloud dissipated and our group looked around to make sure everyone was safe.
"What happened?" Klaus asked around.
"He took the Diamond Mage." I replied.
"He escaped? How'd you let that happen?" Klaus asked.
"I prioritized our safety over the Diamond mage. His people won't kill him and we have accomplished our mission." I explained which did calm Klaus down some.
We then watched as the dungeon fell back into the earth and then I followed Yuno's direction to a certain area.
As we were gone, a injured but mostly healed Lotus was sitting on his smoke chariot. Evidently one of his underlings wasa healer and healed him enough to move and while we were all busy with fighting Mars the second time, Lotus grabbed a bunch of loot from the treasure hall.
Lotus then saw Mars wake up and exclaimed that it was a good thing he survived everything and that because of him they got plenty of treasure.
Mars stared at the setting sun with a look of shock and contemplation.
'It's coming back, all of it' Mars thought to himself about his buried memories of Fana's death all those years ago.
He turned to Lotus.
"Lotus, you saved me, thank you." Mars said not knowing that Ranto actually saved him.
"Hmm, so it seems you can say thank you." Lotus said as they flew back towards the Diamond Kingdom.
The rest of the group of magic Knights had found a place in the woods to rest as Mimosa continued to heal Asta.
I watched as he groaned and woke up deciding to cancel my spell at the same time as Mimosa as Asta was healed enough.
Asta then thanked Mimosa who got nervous and hid behind Noelle.
"Hey I was sure you were gonna kick it befire we could fight." Luck said with his normal grin.
"Not a chance, no dying for me. Ow ow ow ow ow" Asta said pausing while saying ow a bunch, quieter than normal as his loud voice hurt him.
Asta then looked up at Yuno and continued.
"Not until I become the Wizard King." He said to Yuno.
"Poor Asta, you wish. I am going to become the Wizard King." Yuno replied with a smile.
"Keep dreaming you two." I said as I had placed an arm around Yuno. And we all laughed which caused Asta to groan in pain.
Klaus then went over and hugged all three of us apologizing for treating us the way he did and saying we were greeat Magic Knights which shocked everyone but me.
"Sir?" Yuno said.
"Yes what is it?"
"It's a little tight." Yuno said referring to the hug.
"Yes it's actually really hurting me Sir Spectacles." Asta said before a little blood came out of his mouth.
"Really, again with that after everything I just said?" Klaus questions.
"You're right, I guess I should call you Mr Softy Specs." Asta said as he fell down in pain.
"You really don't know when to quit do you brat." Klaus said
"Too serious is Kalus' default state." Mimosa joked to which Klaus just scoffed.
"Hey Noelle, looks like I'm not the only one with torn clothes." Asta said like an idiot.
Noelle looked down and noticed her shirt ripped and showing part of her cleavage.
She freaked out and looked ready to hurt him until I walked next to him and smacked him so hard upside the head that his head was then lodged under the ground.
"You don't say that to a girl you braindead moron." I said to him as he was groaning in pain and tried to pull his head out of the ground.
Mimosa ran over in concern to try and make sure he was okay as he was still injured.
"I'm sorry about my stupid brother." I said as I handed Noelle my Black Bulls robe.
"Use that to cover up for now. We can have Vanessa fix your clothes when we get back to base." I said to which Noelle was blushing and nodded vehemently as she quickly covered herself.
I don't know if she was blushing because I lwnt her my robe or because of the compromising situation she found herself in, but it didn't matter I wasn't interested in some annoying Tsundere.
Asta finally pulled his head out of the ground.
"What'd I say? Whyd you hit me?" Asta asked indignantly.
I smacked him upside the head again but this time softer.
"The fact you have to ask that means we need to have a long talk later." I said with my aura flaring menacingly.
"Okay." Asta said as he was hiding behind Yuno who simply moved away causing Asta to almost fall.
"Hey." Asta said.
"I didn't say you could lean on me." Yuno said.
"Alright it's time we head back." I said to the group.
