Narrator POV
Kragen had barely settled in when Lilith, the moon goddess's messenger walked up to him. She was leaning at the corner of his abode, hands crossed across her chest, with her leg propped behind her.
"I thought you were going to remain there forever. I had a feeling that you would but Mother asked me to come check on you anyways and that as soon as you're back, I should bring you back with me. So c'mon, let's go,".
"I've had a very long and busy day today, please tell her I'm too tired for another of those long meetings," Kragen said over his shoulders as he walked into his abode, ignoring his assistant who was standing at one side, waiting to be summoned by him.
"You don't have a choice, Kragen, Mother didn't ask me to beg you to come with me, she asked me to tell you to come with me immediately. Besides, aren't you worried that since you're not in the holding cell already, something might have happened? You broke a lot of rules today, you know,".
