Elijah looked down at his phone again, receiving the series of messages Jessica sent to him. She kept screaming at him about what he and Keagan had done to her. He just clicked his tongue and pocketed the locked phone. "We should see him again for now. As much as I remember, he's not a pureblood vampire like the rest of those guys."
With a shake in his hand, Petyr ended up dropping the bandage roll. However, Elijah caught it on his shoulder, Petyr's hand cupping Elijah's fingers instead. The knight collected the bandage from the zombie with a smile. "That's supposed to be a secret. Then again, you are a special person."
"You think I'm special to them, huh?" Elijah only snorted before testing the fit of the dressing. He then watched Petyr clean up and store the medical kit back where it should be. He got up and stared at the mirror. "That woman is still a human, right? I can kill her when she attacks us again, right? Fuck, I can't help but dream about tearing her apart."
