The deafening explosion claimed the whole treehouse; the raging flames expanded towards the heavens. Despite how contained the blast was, the searing heat from the flames burned everything that touched them.
Moments after it happened, ten figures appeared on a tree opposite to the ones that had been burned down.
"Won't this kill them?" One of the leaders of the two squads asked, patting the flames off of his robes.
"The readings were no longer as weak as before." The second leader replied calmly, "It showed that one of the two had already surpassed the Golden Core Realm."
Despite how grave the situation they had been in, the indifference in their tones never wavered, as if they were robots and not living people.
"That's on par with the Generals." The first one replied before taking out the tracker once more, "But that also means there is a chance they are still—"
