The other six looked at me with terrifying gazes that I'd never seen directed at me before. Seeing all of them staring at me like that at the same time honestly felt a little surreal, and for a brief moment, I almost wondered if I'd somehow committed a crime against the entire world.
"So, you really went and did it with Lilith's vessel too?" Morsea asked, glaring at me as though I were the biggest piece of shit she had ever encountered in her entire life.
"Well, I was kind of curious," I replied with an easy shrug. "Come on, you already know what I'm like. I'm a slime, and I've always been ridiculously curious. Slimes are naturally curious creatures in the first place, so of course I'd end up wanting to try something like that for myself. It would've been stranger if I wasn't at least a little interested."
My eyes naturally drifted toward Lucielle.
