I was honestly surprised to learn that those two were in that kind of relationship, but... well, considering how worried Mr. Faust always seemed whenever it came to her, I guess part of me already knew they were involved in a sexual relationship.
Even so, I couldn't say that their relationship was exactly normal.
I wouldn't call it weird either, but it definitely wasn't what most people would consider conventional. I had heard of relationships like that before, especially among certain families that wanted to preserve their lineage, but even then, it was still something that most people would find unusual.
Then again, after thinking about it for a few moments, maybe I shouldn't have been surprised at all.
So when the truth finally became clear, it wasn't exactly shocking.
