I woke up feeling a little stiff.
Despite the fact that I had slept surprisingly well and honestly slept like a baby throughout the entire night, my body still felt somewhat sore when I finally opened my eyes. It wasn't anything serious, but there was definitely a noticeable stiffness in my shoulders and back.
Then again, that was probably to be expected.
No matter how comfortable a sleeping bag was, sleeping on the floor was still sleeping on the floor. The ground didn't exactly care about your comfort. It just sat there being hard and inconvenient.
So while my mind felt refreshed, my body seemed to have a few complaints about the arrangement.
Letting out a quiet breath, I slowly rolled over.
The first thing I saw was Foriel.
She was already awake.
Not only was she awake, but she had already started getting dressed.
