"Master seems to be enjoying himself just by looking at us like this," Gabrielle remarked, apparently noticing the smile that had settled on my face while I watched them.
"Well, you really can't blame me, can you?" I replied with a grin. "Back then, getting all three of you into the same room without someone getting upset seemed practically impossible. Irene even threatened to stop being my woman if I didn't break up with Gabrielle, while Gabrielle kept insisting that she didn't like the idea of having a threesome with Irene. But here we are now."
I paused for a moment, remembering just how complicated those days had been, before continuing with a small shake of my head.
"Rose was the odd one out in that situation, but honestly, I never thought the three of you would eventually get along this well. If someone had told me back then that we'd end up like this, I probably would've laughed in their face and asked what kind of ridiculous story they'd been reading."
