Almost a day later, Erik became unable to add any more Elorium to the storage gem, and realised it'd been filled to capacity. The gem was now glowing brightly, filled to the brim with power.
Retrieving his hand, Erik sighed and stretched his body. Standing still for so long wasn't much of a problem for him, yet there was still a strange tension in his body. "Well, that took longer than expected," Erik groaned wryly. "I wonder when I'll get some actual time to train my spatial affinity… This amount of Elorium had best last them a while."
After stretching, he reached down to readjust his pants, which had gotten a little tighter. "Now, I need to deal with the side-effect of charging this thing…" he growled softly.
He decided to contact his beloved fairy. "Elora…" he began through their bond, his voice desirous.
Her response was instant, yet distracted. "Hmm? Yes, my love…?"
