"Kitty!"
Isatia held up her hand high.
Cat Boss picked up on the gesture and nodded his head, using psychic power to float a steaming hot bacon and cheese-topped egg tart from the iron tray toward the sofa.
"Sis, you're really amazing!"
Isatia took a bite and couldn't stop praising Talia's freshly-baked goods of the day.
"Take your time, there's plenty more. Still making some in the kitchen."
Seeing Isatia so happy, Talia also revealed a faint smile.
If she were living alone, she probably wouldn't cook so earnestly, frequenting takeouts instead, but she only put her heart into cooking when it was for someone important.
"Speaking of which, how exactly did Maquiel lose his documents?"
Talia looked down and asked Lanci, who was reading the newspaper.
She had vaguely heard Cat Boss and Lanci's conversation while she was in the kitchen.
Only later did she find out Maquiel also lost his document holder, which made it seem even more like Dex was framing Maquiel.
