"Hmm?"
Yesterday afternoon at two o'clock, Luofeng had checked; gold was almost at 400 yuan per gram.
And overnight, the price of gold has actually fallen this much? What exactly is going on here?
Luofeng reviewed the historical prices. At its peak yesterday, gold had reached 399 yuan per gram, just one yuan short of the 400 yuan threshold. That was at 11 o'clock last night. After that, there was a period of flat movement, with the price hovering around 399. However, at 2 a.m. Daxia time today, international gold prices began to plunge. The price dropped from the 399 mark all the way down until about 6:30 this morning, by which time it had plummeted to 348 yuan. Then, the price gradually stabilized.
Luofeng also checked the price of international silver, which fell from over 6,000 to over 5,000. Silver dropped a full fourteen percent, and gold recorded its largest decline in twenty years, about twelve percent overnight.
