"Who the hell dares to touch me?!" Yang Ling roared, furious that someone had grabbed his wrist. He was shocked that anyone in Jiangzhou would be so audacious as to lay a hand on him. When he looked up, he saw a young man with an exceedingly cold expression staring daggers at him.
"Lin Feng!" Cao Ying exclaimed, a mix of surprise and joy in her voice. The young man holding Yang Ling's wrist was none other than Lin Feng, whom she thought had already left!
"'Sis, are you okay?' Lin Feng asked calmly, his grip still firm on Yang Ling's wrist as he turned his head to look at Cao Ying.
"'I-I'm fine... Let's go,' Cao Ying whispered, glancing at Yang Ling with disgust.
"'Sis? You're her brother?!' Yang Ling finally seemed to understand. So, this kid is just being a protective brother. That explains it!"
Yang Ling assumed Lin Feng was Cao Ying's biological brother, not thinking twice about how little they resembled each other.
