The crescent moon hung in the night sky, its faint light shrouding the solemn and magnificent Qing Luo Kingdom Palace. Under the moonlight, the golden glazed tiles atop the layered roofs of the grand halls resembled golden islands, dazzling in their brilliance.
On the eastern side of the palace was the sleeping chamber of the Prince and Princess. Arguably, the Prince and Princess should have resided outside the palace at the Crown Prince's Mansion, but the Emperor and Empress, wanting to see their precious son at all times, made an exception and let their son and daughter-in-law live with them inside the palace, allocating the most opulent Chongyang Hall for their residence.
