Today is the grand wedding. Fei'er rose before the fourth watch to begin the preparations for adorning herself. Coupled with the weight of her elaborate wedding clothes and flower crown worn throughout the day, she now felt both exhausted and famished, teetering on the brink of fainting.
As she suffered, the sound of soft, shuffling footsteps and the clattering of bowl and chopsticks being arranged suddenly reached her ears. Moments later, the enticing aroma of food wafted over. Upon smelling it, Fei'er's stomach let out two loud growls, causing her to blush and instinctively cover her abdomen.
