"Alright, Mommy will tell a story," Jun Baobao looked at her with anticipation.
Ye Ranran opened the storybook, noticing one of the pages was folded, presumably where they had stopped last.
She discovered the story was written in two languages.
"How about we start with the mother tongue and then the foreign language?" Ye Ranran sought their opinion.
"Start with the foreign language, then the mother tongue," Jun Mochan suggested.
"Uh, can he even understand it?" Ye Ranran questioned. If he could, that would be almost freakishly genius.
"He can understand most of it, so he'll be curious. By the second listen, he'll pay closer attention. If he understood everything the first time, he'd lose his curiosity for the second go around."
Ye Ranran, understanding the deeper meaning behind his words, was utterly impressed.
"This time, I'll tell you the story of 'Mending the Fold after Losing the Sheep'," Ye Ranran lowered her head and began reading.
