Just as Xiaolian was about to have a breakdown, Tangtang snapped out of it and coughed twice, awkwardly saying, "I'm fine, I'm fine, why are you crying?"
Seeing this, Xiaolian, wiping away her tears, grabbed Tangtang and said, "Oh my gosh, you're finally back to normal, you nearly scared me to death, scared me to death."
Upon hearing this, Tangtang chuckled and comforted her, "It's nothing, Xiaolian, what's the big deal? Let them talk if they want to, just a bunch of ignorant people, no point in taking it to heart and getting yourself upset."
Xiaolian replied with a sense of grievance, "I didn't want to either, but they made it sound so believable, and, that day, you indeed weren't with everyone else, but the idea that you were being kept by a rich man, I would never believe that, so, so, I ended up arguing with them."
