Ye Lu, after resting for two days, was already out of bed.
She received a phone call; her expression immediately became grave and eerie, then she walked out of the ward and went to Dr. K's office.
"My package," she said.
Dr. K looked at her calm and composed demeanor, secretly frowned, and handed her a small black package.
"What's inside? It's all wrapped up mysteriously."
Ye Lu lowered her eyes, her voice as if separated by a layer of ice: "Dr. K, we had an agreement—you keep my secret, and you don't meddle in what I'm going to do."
"I have no intention of interfering, but I hope you can think it through. Some things, once done, there's no turning back." Dr. K's tone held a rare hint of concern; in truth, he didn't know what she intended to do.
However, since she took such a risky choice to have a premature birth, what she intended to do must be very dangerous.
