He stared in shock at the silent and indifferent gentleman, tension mounting.
"She waited until the evening?" Third Young Master Jun's eyes burned like flames, his face ashen, his voice terrifying.
The frightened waiter trembled. "Y-yes, she did. In the end, her face turned very pale, she looked unwell, and then left."
Third Young Master Jun's breath hitched, his expression shifted dramatically. He shoved the waiter aside, grabbed the coat draped over the chair, threw down some money, and stormed out.
Out on the main road, he took in the neon lights of the midnight city, quietly illuminating the streets.
There was no sign of her anywhere.
She had already left.
He stood motionless in the middle of the road, completely rigid.
Should he go find her? But he shouldn't see her.
Yet, recalling the waiter's words about her leaving pale and unwell, his heart clenched, overwhelmed with pain.
