Manman frowned, "Why?"
Muo Huangnian brushed aside the long hair beside her cheek, "You'll get tired."
"I won't," Manman insisted on getting out of bed, "The doctor said I should take a walk after meals."
"Today is an exception."
Muo Huangnian carefully pressed her back down and pulled the quilt over her. Manman looked at him, puzzled, but deduced he probably had something to say, "If you have something to say, just say it."
He sat at the edge of the bed, holding her delicate, almost boneless hand. After a long silence, he asked softly, "Manman, are you not afraid of the injections now?"
During her hospital stay, she had received plenty of injections, but aside from instinctively frowning, she no longer displayed any other emotions.
"Hmm," Manman withdrew her hand, feeling more confused. "What exactly are you trying to tell me?"
