The Pearl Princess was a bit flustered. Ji Youze had clearly prepared everything well in advance.
"Did you expect me to agree to you all along?"
Ji Youze chuckled, "My precious niece said that you and I are destined to have a perfect marriage for ten lifetimes."
"She's just a child, what could she possibly know?
And you didn't properly guide her. If she keeps spouting nonsense all day, what will happen when she grows up?"
Ji Youze laughed softly, then reminded her very seriously.
"You can say that to me once, but don't ever say it again. Otherwise, even as her eighth uncle, I won't be able to save you!"
The Pearl Princess frowned, puzzled, and asked, "What do you mean?"
"Suisui is a smart child and has practiced 'Tā Xin Tong'. Do not, by any means, think ill of her in your heart in front of her."
The Pearl Princess widened her eyes in disbelief, "He... Tā Xin Tong? Not even Buddhist Masters can master Tā Xin Tong?"
Ji Youze nodded.
