Chapter 3 - chapter 2

The vamps slaves carried him into the white clan house, his limp body dangling between their arms. As they stepped through the door, one of the vampires approached me, whispering softly into my ear. "Your mom's calling you," he said.

I nodded, my heart racing a little as I walked toward her chambers. I knocked lightly on the door, but before I could even open it, my dad swung it open with a force that made me flinch. He motioned for me to sit, pointing to the chair opposite my mother.

The room was dimly lit, the soft glow of the candles casting a warm light over my mother. She sat with her legs crossed, a glass of blood in hand. The glow from the candlelight made her youthful appearance even more striking—her skin flawless, her features sharp and untamed by time. Her clothes, a sleek black dress that hugged her form perfectly, seemed to belong to someone in their twenties, not the leader of the clan.

She stared at me, her eyes narrowing. The intensity in her gaze could freeze anyone, yet I remained unfazed. I'd gotten used to her power over the years.

Without wasting a moment, she got straight to the point. "I heard you brought a human boy back. Why?" Her voice was calm, but her eyes betrayed confusion. It was as though she was trying to read between the lines, searching for a hidden reason.

I shrugged nonchalantly, not bothering to hide the smirk creeping onto my lips. "Who knows? Maybe he's my reward for finally graduating from that thing called school."

Her brows furrowed, and I could see the irritation building within her. "What are you playing at?" she demanded, her voice taking on a sharper edge. "You were sent there as a punishment."

I gave a slight, almost mischievous smile, which only seemed to aggravate her further. She was never one to tolerate defiance.

"Listen, I don't care what you use him for, just don't kill him or hurt him," she continued, her tone softening slightly, though there was still a trace of annoyance. "If you get bored of him, send him home with his memories wiped. But if anything happens to him…"

I didn't let her finish, standing up quickly, eager to escape the tension in the air. But her words stopped me. "If anything happens to him, I will lock you at the bottom of the ocean."

The finality in her voice made it clear that she was not to be trifled with. I didn't need to argue—I knew she meant every word.

I left her office and made my way back to my room, a sense of unease creeping over me. When I entered, I noticed that nothing had been touched. The room looked exactly as I had left it, a sense of stillness filling the space.

I walked across the room, my mind wandering to the strange circumstances of the evening. But as I reached my bed, something made me stop in my tracks. There, lying shirtless on my bed, was the human boy. He was nearly naked, save by his Calvin Klein boxers that clung to his body, outlining the sharp V of his hips leading down to his dick and the lines of his chest.

For a brief moment, I froze because the situation had taken an unexpected turn. unappreciated but fun
