Chapter 115 - Chapter 115 Only Hope

"Are you sure this will work?" Rohan's girlfriend asked in an apprehensive tone. "It has to. I refuse to live like this anymore. If we are going to go back to school and build an upstanding life together, I need to get out of this gang, and Michael is the only one I know who can get us away from Razor with our lives and limbs intact." He says

"That's true, but how will we do this?" She asks. "Well, you two have a history, seeing as though he went to great lengths to preserve your innocence, so maybe we can use that connection and get close to him, then tell him that I need to talk to him urgently and that it's a matter of life and death, make sure he knows that." "Okay, I can do that, but it's his wedding day; will he even spare time for me?"

"I hope to God he does because if he doesn't, then we will be trapped in this bloody nightmare for the rest of our lives. This community isn't safe; the base isn't safe; people are dying left, right, and center around us. If we are ever going to have any kind of future together, we need to get out now, and Michael is our only hope."

"Okay, but if this does work, then how will we get the things that we left behind?" she asked. "You did remember to take all your important papers with you, right?" He ask. "Yes, I did." "And I have mine; these are all we need for now. We will sort out the rest later." "You are right, one step at a time. Thank God we got a drive from Jody and Joseph; otherwise, we would have missed this chance."

"There's no way I would have allowed that to happen. From the moment I came back to the base yesterday after that bloody gun battle and heard that he was back, I instantly began making plans to meet him. We only get one chance at this, and as Michael always says, failure isn't an option. Our lives depend on this plan working. If Razor finds out that I am trying to leave his gang, I will not live to see tomorrow, and God only knows what he would do to you; this has to work." He says firmly.

A few minutes later, Jody and Joseph, who had stepped out of the car to buy something, came back. Rohan gave his girlfriend's hand a reassuring squeeze as Joseph fastened his seatbelts and drove off.

Liah moved from one process to another as if in a trance, from having her hair and makeup done to trying on about five elegant maternity wedding gowns, each one more beautiful than the previous one, so in the interest of time she asked the ladies who were assisting her for their opinion in choosing one, and they were all very happy to help. They then led her to an adjoining room where she got her nails done.

Through the entire process, she kept thinking that all this can't be real; this has to be a dream, right? Moses wasn't really here; he didn't propose to her? Of course not; things such as this don't happen to people like her, no way, this was definitely a dream. Okay, then throwing all caution to the wind, she decided that she was going to enjoy this beautiful dream to the fullest; she would deal with reality when she woke up.

One of the ladies brought her two pairs of soft silver pumps, and she chose one; she was then taken back to the main room, where two other ladies helped her into the dress she had chosen. The pumps were then placed on her feet with the utmost care; they then put on her veil that was attached to an emerald and diamond tiara.

She was then led to the elevator by two of the ladies, one on either side of her, but as the elevator reached the ground floor, the two ladies stepped back, and two guards dressed in black tuxedos took their positions on either side of her; all eyes were on her as she walked through the lobby towards a black limo that was parked directly at the entrance of the hotel.

This was a wonderful Cinderella dream; everyone was tending to her as if she was a real-life princess, well, at least in this dream she was. She thought with a smile, and in addition to that, she had gotten her question about how Princess Diana must have felt to marry into the royal family answered. This kind of treatment was amazing. She thought as the two guards helped her into the limo.

"Enjoy some quiet time alone, Princess Liah. We will now escort you to the chapel; the Prince will meet you there." One says with a slight bow as he closes the limo door. "Princess Liah," she repeated with a giggle. "Best dream ever," she sighed contentedly.

Over the past few months, she had already come to terms with the fact that Moses was indeed a real Prince; she had seen enough photos and videos of him on the internet to know that much. The reality of how powerful and influential he is did hit her like a ton of bricks, but she had come to accept that this is indeed his true identity. Seeing as though this was all a dream and she wouldn't be seeing him again in real life, she had nothing to worry about; she could just bask in all his power from afar while taking satisfaction in knowing that he was the father of her unborn children.

To think that she actually owned this man at one point; he was so submissive to her, but that was before her sister ruined everything. Now he was back home running his own country; he probably didn't even remember her at this point, and all this was her fault. She should have believed him when he said that he was innocent. Well, at least for now she got the privilege of indulging in this beautiful dream of becoming his wife and the future queen of his country. This was a dream she never wanted to wake up from.
