"Never thought I would see the day you're rendered speechless." Razor snorts. "Are you sure that David is dead?" Mathayus asks in a tone that says if he isn't, I will leave no stone unturned until he is, a tone that didn't go unnoticed by Razor. "If I know Anthony well enough, then yes, dat fucker is as dead as a door nail, but no one knows dat, they all just think he disappeared somewhere overseas." "And once again I almost lost the woman I love and my unborn children." Mathayus sighs.
"Emphasis on almost, this time you didn't, she and your children are as healthy as a horse." "That explains why she hasn't been answering her phone." "Yeah, I heard he smashed hers to pieces, so now that you know the truth about what happened to her, we need to clear up a few things," Razor says, glancing over at Mathayus, whose dark eyes were glued to the road before him. Razor cleared his throat before speaking again.
"So, seeing that your father knows a whole lot more than you do, it seems that he was investigating her for some time now, which means that he also knew that she hadn't gone back to David, so why didn't he just tell you that instead of letting you wallow in misery for all those months?" Razor ask.
"I'm still trying to make sense of my father's actions. One thing is for sure, my father would never do anything to hurt me, so whatever he did was in my best interest." He said firmly. "Your faith in him is dat strong, even though he dragged you and shipped you here without even telling you why?" "It is." "That means you're both messed up in the head." Razor laughs as he comes to a stop at a stoplight.
"I had so many plans for you while you were unconscious in that bed, so many things have happened since then, I was really looking forward to putting you to work for me, but then you woke up, and I realized that you were a tougher nut to crack than I first thought....
Then you went and surprised me by taking my weapons off me without me knowing, and again, I saw great potential in you. I came up with about a hundred different ways in which I could use you to make money, but that was before you became a colossal pain in my ass, and all my best laid plans went out the god damn window." Razor snorts. Mathayus looks over at him but says nothing.
"Damn, you become a pain in my ass." Razor laughs, "But despite all that, I still saw a great leader in you, so I decided to leave you in charge of my gang when I went to Kingston. Knowing who Michael is and the power he wields, Razor decides not to inform him of the fact that he knew who he was before leaving for Kingston; this was a man he wanted for an ally, not an enemy.
"But as much of a pain as you were, I still wish with all my heart that I had left Jermaine in your care instead of dragging him to Kingston with me. If I had left him with you, he would still be alive today," Razor says, fighting back his tears.
"Why didn't you leave him?" "Why? Because he feared you." "Why?" "He said you remind him of the angel of death; he thought that you would hurt him to get back at me." "Well, he wasn't wrong there; that did cross my mind at one point, but I wouldn't have gone as far as to hurt him, just scare him a little to get your attention. What I find ironic is the fact that he spent half his life with you, but I'm the one he labels as the angel of death." Mathayus snorts.
"That's because, as scary as I am, I'm still no match for you. Wid me, when I'm coming for your ass, I come with a bang, I want people to know that I'm coming and that they are going to die and there isn't a damn thing they can do to stop me."
"Is that the reason you got shot? Because you went to Kingston with a bang?" "No, I didn't go to Kingston to start a war or to kill anyone, I went there to conduct business, the shit storm I walked into had absolutely nothing to do with me, that's why I was caught off guard, but when I went back a few weeks ago, I went in like a fucking thunder storm, I'm not to be fucked with." Razor growls, slamming his fist on the steering wheel.
"Now, you, on the other hand, you're like the Terminator and The Predator rolled into one. The Terminator can wipe out a city within minutes, and the Predator can become invisible, and he's also a deadly motherfucker, so basically you could wipe out my entire base, and we wouldn't even see you coming, and that's why he label you the angel of death." Razor snorts.
"Are you seriously flattering me right now?" "Are you surprised? I might be a cold-blooded ass-hole, but I'm not stupid, game recognize game dawg, for instance, I know what your mission is right now, and I have no intention of trying to stop you, me trying to keep you from the woman you love and your unborn children is the same as signing my own death warrant, and again, I'm not stupid." Razor chuckles.
