He gloats.
"What?" Liah couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Oh yeah, no one had to tell me that you were in that house, I knew that the two of you were in there, how? Because I followed you there...
I called those men and told them that bastard was in there, with you, I told them to shred that house with bullets and yet somehow you both still managed to walk out of there alive." He snorts.
"And to make matters worse, you and your idiot brother had the nerve to stand there and lie to my face about it, to my damn face! Then chase me from your house at gunpoint! So okay, you two win that round but that taught me that going at you two head-on wasn't going to cut it, so I took a step back and told my family that I was going out of town to clear my head...."
"We did that to protect my mother from what I was doing!" She shouts, cutting him off. "Do not interrupt me when I'm speaking!" He growls, slapping her across her face again.
"And I don't give a shit why you did it, the two of you made me look like an idiot! And for that you will pay." He shakes himself as if trying to gain control, then straightens his clothes.
"Well, needless to say my divide and conquer plan worked perfectly. You turn against him so fast, I think you gave the man whiplash." He laugh menacingly. "Serve him right for thinking he could compete with me...
Now the difficult part was finding the right time and place to grab you without drawing the attention of your brother or his followers. Then I heard that you were at that retreat, so thank you for making this so easy for me. No one is coming to save you; your rotting corpse is what will draw people to this place." He laughs again.
"You're going to kill me now, huh?" She asks, tears running down her face. "Of course I'm going to kill you, why do you think I knock you over your head and brought you here? To dance around the camp fire and sing kumbaya?
Oh no, you thought that you could disrespect me and get away with it, but I'm here to show you the error of your ways."
"Even if you kill me, Anthony will find you and kill you." She sneers. "No, he won't because my flight for America leaves in three hours and I'm never coming back to this country and..." His phone rang,s which cut his ranting short."
"Hold that thought," He said, placing the tape back over her mouth before leaving the room to answer it."
