Chapter 105 - The swing and the monkey

---

One day, Saylie was practicing with his sword in the middle of the forest.

He threw the blade far, intending to hunt a rabbit, but it vanished into the weeds.

Searching for it, he shouted,

"Magic sword, rise! Why don't you answer me?"

But the sword had struck the dwarf innkeeper, Robetic.

The robot fell silent and collapsed to the ground.

Alarmed, Saylie hurried back to tell Grandpa that the magic sword had disappeared into the forest.

Grandpa was lying on the swing strung between two tall trees near the hut.

Saylie rushed into the hut.

"Grandpa, where are you?" he called.

His sister, Vizella, answered,

"Saylie, come here for lunch—it's ready."

But Saylie replied,

"I don't want to eat. I'm looking for Grandpa."

Vizella, resting on the swing herself, smiled:

"Think of a way to wake him up and make him come down to you."

As he walked away, Saylie pondered how to reach Grandpa.

Looking up at the tall trees, he suddenly spotted a monkey leaping from branch to branch.

Clapping his hands, Saylie called out,

"Friend, come down! I need your help."

He dashed back into the hut and asked his sister for a banana.

Taking it, he hurried to the tree where the monkey perched.

When the animal saw the fruit, it climbed down eagerly.

Saylie caught it gently, offered the banana, and whispered,

"Come with me to Grandpa."

At the swing, Saylie tossed the monkey into the folds of Grandpa's robe.

The startled animal squirmed, and Grandpa bolted upright in fright.

"Oh monster—has the battle begun?" he cried.
