Sula sat Colin on his bed while the children wandered around the house, following the cat.
Uncle Colin closed his eyes and fell asleep, while Sula went to look for the kitchen to prepare lunch.
As she headed toward the kitchen, she found that the cat had arrived before her, clearly thinking about meat. The boy, Sally, was also searching for something to eat for himself and his sister.
Sula entered the kitchen and, hearing their voices, said:
Sula: "Come, children, I want to bake bread for you."
The children stood beside their mother, their teeth trembling from hunger.
Children: "Mom, our stomachs are empty… our cat will die."
Sula laughed: "The monster cat never dies, and it doesn't know hunger. If it ever gets hungry… it will eat you."
Vizilla, frightened, said to her brother: "Come on, get her away from me. She might eat me."
Sally: "My sister, don't be afraid of her. She already ate all the frozen fish. Mom, why do you scare my sister? My cat is everyone's friend. I love her."
Sula muttered angrily: "Damn it, Capelli… they took your money."
Meanwhile, the cat was hiding near the wild wolves.
Sula prepared a plate of eggs and bread, while Sally carried a jug of orange juice. Together, they headed to Colin's room to wake him and have lunch with him.
