Luna Park listened.
A beat passed.
Then two.
The Luna let out the most painful cry that Kiyoto had heard in years.
It was one that engulfed the entire pack.
One that had the wolves stopping everything they were doing. They had never heard things like that. Never heard the Luna cry so painfully. It was like someone had stabbed her in the heart, and boy, was it a pain that the entire pack felt.
"My little boy, Jae Jun. My baby," Luna Park cried like she was already mourning. Like the world was taking away the one thing that meant the world to her.
She cried like everything had become ever so worthless. And as any mother would, she set out on a destination so dangerous. One that no one could ever stop her from. Because anyone who had heard the Helia bells had the same thought.
It was too dangerous.
