Agust had kept trying to talk Jiminie out of his decision, even when the alpha insisted he had something to show him.
He had tried, and there was no denying that. But an adamant alpha and an Erasthai who was determined to make their relationship work, Jiminie was not giving up.
He wasn't about to change his mind, and whatever happened, he would always be there for the grumpy Lycan who kept whining about how Jiminie choosing him that publicly had been a terrible idea.
Maybe it was.
Maybe it wasn't.
But Jiminie had decided, and Agust just had to keep up.
"We're here, Xiao Xiao," Jiminie said, finally letting go of the mad king's arm.
Agust took in the sight, then turned to Jiminie. And he wasn't sure what to say to that.
"Do you like it?" Jiminie asked.
"You're still the prettiest creation I have ever seen, but this is…" Agust said, awed by it.
"Perfect? Good for both of us? Happier?" Jiminie said as he stared at what he had been making for them.
