Word spread fast about what was happening in Helia. The kingdom that once stood strong was rumbling from the inside.
And it was their king tearing them down.
Many of the Lycans had made a run from home to live in the human lands because, at least with the humans, there was a chance at peace. They were sure they would take to their family members being butchered or screaming for mercy.
Everyone in the realm knew Helia hated having its citizens out of the kingdom.
Yet for some reason, the human lands were slowly starting to fill up with Lycans who masked their real scents and did menial jobs just to keep pushing through the days.
It was not the easiest of things that could ever happen, and it didn't take long for word to reach Kiyoto.
"Did you guys hear what happened to Helia?"
"The rumors say the king went feral and is killing everyone."
"Lycans who were once feared are running away from home because of him."
