In a high end cafe a young woman with raven hair was sitting alone as she rested her chin on her palm while gazing at her reflection in the glass pane.

From the time she could remember she had been in love with the colour Black , it was like this colour was meant for her.
Black , a colour associated with darker aspects of life , a colour most would stay clear of not wanting to seem like an emo , anti social person.
But she had always been fascinated by this colour , did it signify the inside of her heart ? That was as empty as a dark space?
But more than anything She Kurumi Tokisaki loved the colour Amber ...

From the moment she could remember , she always had this empty feeling deep inside of her , like she was missing something.
She had tried many ways to fill this emptiness but nothing worked , she was good at masking her emotions behind a smile so no one could find the difference.
She had always been lavished by praises and adoration wherever she went , due to her appearance that was better than actresses and models. But none of the attention or praises brought joy to her as the emptiness just felt that profound.
Many modelling agencies had approached her but she declined because she didn't lack money.
Her parent's were very well off , so even without having to do anything she was set for life.
So she finished High school and decided to pursue a degree in Psychology because she felt it would help her in some way or atleast it was one of the few subjects that interested her.
She had heard of the existence of Spirits which was considered myth by some people but she didn't care , she knew her Parent's had business dealings with Tengoku one of the biggest companies in the world which only increased their wealth.
And her parent's had asked her if she would like to try out for SCT , ( Spirit Containment Team ) which was considered a god send opportunity for many.
But she declined ... because she wasn't interested.... She had Zero motivations to do so and right now she was in her final year of studies and would graduate soon.
Her parent's had already tried making her go on some blind dates , she humoured them but didn't meet the same person once more.
They all felt boring ..... She felt completely dead and empty inside and she dreaded the fact that she would have to live like this for the rest of her life.
Kurumi lifted her hand as she gazed at the ring on her finger with an Amber gem inlaid on it.
Most women would go for diamonds but she didn't know why but when she gazed at this Amber gem it resonated with her.
In her excitement she had bought it , but it was a one time thing , that excitement she felt when she saw the gem never occured again but she did discover that she was fond of this colour.
As she was gazing at her ring deep in thought she noticed a presence on the opposite side of her.
Kurumi raised her head and saw that it was her date for today , another suitor her parent's had looked for her.
' So tiring ' Kurumi sighed inside her mind but she maintained a polite smile on the outside.
" T-Tokisaki-san It's nice to meet you , You look lovely today " The man oposite her said with a bit of awkwardness because he found it difficult to be in her presence and he was awed by her beauty.
" Likewise Kamiya-san ~ " Kurumi said with a polite smile as she elegantly took a sip of her drink.
She could practically see the man swoon just by her smile but Kurumi didn't even bother thinking too much , to her he was akin to a Potato. ( Potatoes look the same , just different size and shape , don't take it too literally , you get what I am getting at right )
She was going to stay here and talk to him for a few hours then go back home and tell her parents that it's didn't work out.
Kurumi had a polite smile on her face as she gently stirred her spoon inside her cup while droning out the nonsense her date partner was spouting , he was bragging about taking his Yacht out to the sea and catching some big fish and fighting a shark or something.
Kurumi didn't even bother responding as she just had a smile on her face while looking attentive, it seemed enough for the guy as he thought she was intrested in his great exploits.
He couldn't help but gas up his experiences a bit more to impress this young lady who he became smitten with.
Everyone said to him before that he shouldn't go on this date because Kurumi Tokisaki was unattainable but he just ignored them as he believed these guys had zero game.
Today he was going to conquer this unattainable flower that has captivated lot of young men and even women among the social circle of the upper class.....

A Dark tendrils of energy slowly slithered out of Kurumi's hands and it was unnoticed by everyone because it dissappeared as quickly as it came.
Kurumi's body stiffened for a bit before she relaxed and a smile formed on her face.
Tears started rolling down her cheeks uncontrollably.
