The dragon man felt something wasn't quite right. If it was a spirit from the Boundary Realm, it couldn't possibly come to the real world on its own accord, since they are physical entities that need a body or a contract.
"You don't need to be so surprised. I am the ruler of that realm, so I can bring any spirit to this world at will," Mae said.
The white snake coiled around Mae's arm, rubbing against his palm.
"What do you want?" - AO LI
"It's simple, I want to find something that can help me regain my body. You're the longest-lived dragon, surely you know about the Lake of Life, right?" - Mae
"That lake...it's long gone. Even if you go there, not a drop will remain." - AO LI
"Oh, what happened to that place?" - Mae
"It happened a very long time ago. Ever since the Mother of Fertility disappeared, the lake has dried up." - AO LI
