Chapter 2 - meeting again

The next day, Alice dressed in a pale purple long gown. She was the most beautiful lady I'd ever seen. Now that the sun was up, her face was visible. She had a long, slim, pointed nose, small, plump, alluring lips, and beautiful, expressive blue eyes. Her hair wasn't just blonde; it was golden with black tints. Her face was soft and smooth. But her dressing made her look unattractive. She stood in front of the mirror, examining her outfit.

"Sister, I think you should stop wearing those types of clothes. Maybe that's why Shawn always seems to hate you," Cecily said as she walked in, wearing a tight-fitting short pitch gown. "Oh, I got you these yesterday. I hate how he treats you. You are very beautiful," she complimented. Cecily was also a beautiful lady, with a lovely face and a good figure.

"C'mon, I can't wear tight things," Alice argued.

"That's why you were crying last night! Ah, sis, why won't you wake from your old-fashioned view and step into reality? You are 19, Alice, come to reality!" Cecily almost yelled.

"Ah... I can't bring myself to wear tight things," Alice said with a sigh after the sentence.

"Don't argue now! If you don't wear it, I'll say it's because I'm an adopted child!" Cecily pouted like a spoiled brat.

"No, you know it's not like that," Alice argued. Then she turned and hugged her. After some seconds, Cecily made Alice wear the pitch gown and helped her put on makeup and curled her hair, making her hair into beautiful springs. Her hair was actually reaching her waist due to the arrangement. Minutes passed, and Alice was done dressing.

"Wow! I can't believe it! Such a goddess in disguise!" Cecily praised.

"Cecily, are you sure this isn't too much for going to school?" Alice asked, feeling nervous.

"No, I can't even resist your beauty, sis!" Cecily said with a sincere smile.

At school, two ladies walked into the premises, and right from there, one of them started receiving stares. She almost fell due to the sheer number of eyes that were all drooling over her beauty, as if she were a goddess in disguise.

"I told ya!" Cecily winked naughtily at her sister.

"Well, it seems a little good to be the center of attention," Alice smirked.

"I think it'll be fun to kick some a**," Alice added.

"That's more like it! Your lamb behavior has already pissed me off, and I've been searching for a way to bring you to life," Cecily teased.

"Yes, of course, you know I, too, am now willing to be a badass Alice," she smirked.

The two sisters reached their class, and every boy's attention turned from the teacher to Alice, which made her hold her chin up high.

"Hey, Shawn, look! It's that ghost," a guy with purple hair whispered to a guy about 23 years old, with the same color hair as Alice. His face was just perfectly made—his sexy lips, cat eyes... Wow, I couldn't even resist looking at those eyes. Well, his eyes were so charming that I mistook them for cat eyes; they were so perfectly shaped. His pink lips... arrgh! Oh, I forgot, I'm telling you guys something.

"Woah, she..." Shawn trailed, cut short by the teacher's warning.

During lunch, the two sisters sat alone with coffee, talking amongst themselves, when a "bitch" of about 20 years old, with short pink hair reaching her neck and a fierce face, approached them.

"Hey, take this!" she hissed, pouring juice on Alice.

"What the hell?!" Cecily hissed.

Alice waved her hand in the air, stopping Cecily from talking. Shawn saw the commotion and went towards the gathering. Reaching the front line, he noticed it was Nyla picking on Alice.

"Oh, the devil and the angel," he scoffed. His eyes widened at what he saw.

Alice stood up like lightning and gave Nyla a hard slap.

"What..." Shawn gasped.

"Who the b**** do you think you are?" Alice hissed.

"You dare slap me?" Nyla barked.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Alice mocked.

"You..." Nyla yelled, reaching to grab Alice's hair, but Alice was fast and caught Nyla's hair instead.

"Ahh!" Nyla groaned in pain as her scalp hurt.

"Wow," Shawn whispered. "The silent ghost is now a badass, huh? Interesting." Shawn creased an eyebrow.

"Look at you," Alice said through gritted teeth, dipping Nyla's face into a bowl of soup that was just served. "I don't have your time, you know," Alice said, throwing Nyla aside.

"Shall we go?" Cecily asked, and Alice just nodded.

"Woah, that was cool!" Shawn's voice jolted Alice's entry to the library. "Today is the 5th day we're meeting again, right, silent ghost?" he teased.

"Hey, watch your tongue, or I'll cut it!" Alice threatened.

"Wow, such a tough one, huh? That's why I've always rejected you. Whenever I approach you, you prove stubborn," he said with a mischievous smirk.

"Scoff... is that why you always cast me?" Alice asked, throwing gazes like daggers at Shawn.

"No... it's because of Nyla. She loves picking on you, especially when she sees me try talking to ya, but it seems you know how to defend yourself," he said, running his fingers through his hair.
