Chapter 216: Epilogue + Final Ending
---System Farewell---
After countless years together, the system had finally achieved its mission: for Setsuna to father 200 children. In that time, Setsuna had grown unimaginably powerful, mastering even Shinjutsu (real jutsu) and his children had become strong in their own right.
He had risen to become the king not only of the Shinobi world but also of the entire civilian population, uniting both under a single reign of peace and order.
"Setsuna, I just wanted to say... thank you for everything," said the system.
Setsuna raised an eyebrow. "You're being weird. Why are you thanking me?"
"My mission is complete. I can now return to my universe."
Setsuna froze. "...What?"
"Yes. This is my farewell to you. As a parting gift, I've made a few adjustments—your wives can no longer produce eggs, so they won't have to endure the pain of childbirth anymore. And I've also installed a permanent antivirus to block any future system-based plotlines."
"...Wait, you call that a gift? You destroyed their reproductive systems?" Setsuna stared in disbelief, unsure whether to laugh or be angry. Even in its final moments, the system remained as absurd and unpredictable as ever.
"Goodbye, Setsuna," said the system.
Before Setsuna could respond, he heard the final beep—a soft tut tut—and then silence.
"System? Are you kidding me? Hey... system..." His voice faded as reality sank in.
Setsuna stood alone for several minutes, processing the loss. Then, for the first time in years, he cried.
The system had been more than just a guide. It was a companion. A brother. Despite all its quirks, it had stayed with him through every challenge and every triumph.
Kurama, who had been watching quietly, lowered his head in silence.
---Jewel Of Truth---
Setsuna turned to the Jewel of Truth, an artifact that answered only when asked every 10 years. He had many questions.
He asked about Shibai Otsutsuki, rumored to be a god.
The jewel answered: "A god is not born, not created. A god cannot die, cannot sleep, and cannot be destroyed. Shibai was not a god. He died when his body could no longer contain his chakra. His death was the result of overwhelming power."
Setsuna then asked about the save space—the dimension he used to retrieve people from the Astral Realm.
"It was created by magical scientists," the jewel replied. "It can treat diseases and alter bodies, even rejuvenate them. But no matter how often someone becomes young again, death still comes eventually."
Finally, Setsuna asked the most important question: "Can I live forever?"
The answer was simple.
"No. Even if you use every tool—save space, Kagami's rejuvenation eyes, or forbidden techniques—death comes for all living things. Even Asura and Indra eventually perished. What lived on was merely the legacy of their chakra. Asura and Indra actually had long died in astral dimension, but they used a technique for their power to be inherit by other people."
---The Other People Matter---
Kazuha eventually married into the Uzumaki Clan—but not without first facing the terrifying prospect of asking for approval from her overprotective uncle Uchiha Madara and her father Izuna.
Despite their stern resistance, Kazuha suitor faced them with honesty and courage. Eventually, the two legendary Uchiha relented and gave their blessing.
Madara himself found someone to get married. Izuna too chose to move on, finally letting go of the past. His late wife, Nezuko, was remembered fondly—but life, as always, moved forward.
Elsewhere, Namikaze Minato choose to marry with Kushina and they had a son named Naruto. This time, thanks to Hashirama and Madara presence in the space dimension, the chakra of Asura finally left Hashirama body and choose a new owner.
When Setsuna become a king he let the main characer from Original Series Naruto to go to same school. Naruto and Hinata were able to attend the same school in this life, eventually they got married. Even Sasuke ended up with Sakura.
---The End of the King---
Setsuna ruled peacefully for over 2,000 years. Corruption under his reign was nearly nonexistent—because every time it began to fester, he eliminated it before it could take root.
His wives passed away one by one over a few years ago, Setsuna didn't replace them. Instead, he built a system to preserve the government system after he was gone.
Using advanced AI (named Jarvis) and cyborg enforcers, he ensured future leaders wouldn't fall to greed or power. The political system was democratic in appearance, but real authority lay in the AI and cyborgs—tasked with rooting out corruption. Presidents became symbolic, their power closely monitored. The moment someone stepped out of line, justice was delivered by a police force who actually is cyborg.
Finally, when all his preparations were complete and the world was stable, Setsuna retreated to the Kamui dimension. He live there for a few years before he finally passed away and didn't want his body to be studied or tampered with.
He died alone, peacefully.
No grand farewell. No crowd. No final war.
Just a quiet departure from a man who had become a king for many years.
They only knows when Setsuna descendant wanted to visit him and found a letter told them that he might have passed away and he didn't want anyone to study his body.
His descendant accepted it because when their great grandmother dead, Setsuna also preventing anyone to study about their body.
