Chapter 3 - GOA Island: Where Humans and Fantastical Creatures Clash

Flareon, 15th of Tharros, 520 ER

For generations, the island of GOA thrived in harmony, its diverse kingdoms and fantastical creatures coexisting peacefully. This balance was disrupted when a group of human explorers—Bordock, Janeth, Kennedy, Salima, and Tilo—arrived, drawn by tales of untapped resources and magical wonders.

Establishing a settlement they named GOAZ, these pioneers laid the foundation for what would become a burgeoning human kingdom. As news of their success spread, more settlers arrived, integrating into the community and contributing to its rapid expansion.

With growth came ambition. The humans, driven by a desire to dominate, began encroaching upon territories held by GOA's original inhabitants. This expansion did not go unnoticed. The island's hierarchy—led by the Elves of Elvoga, followed by the Demons of Demonga and the Orcs of Orca—viewed these actions as a direct threat to the established order.

Tensions escalated when humans refused to acknowledge the Demons and Orcs as founding realms of GOA. Perceiving the Demons' mastery of dark magic and the Orcs' warrior culture as threats, the humans sought to suppress and control them. This disregard ignited a fierce conflict, plunging the island into a decade-long war.

Leveraging advanced technology and strategic prowess, the humans gained the upper hand. They enslaved many Demons, Dwarves, and Orcs, dismantling their kingdoms and exploiting their unique abilities. The Elves, striving for peace, initially attempted mediation but eventually allied with the humans to avoid a similar fate. The fates of the Lizardmen and Beastmen remain to be unveiled.

The aftermath of the war left GOA irrevocably changed. In the shadows of their former glory, the surviving Demons and Orcs forged an uneasy alliance, determined to reclaim their rightful place and challenge human dominion.
